YouTuber Bashurverse Sadly Passes Away From COVID and Pneumonia
It’s a sad day, as we learned that ToastyTime, once known as Bashurverse has passed due to COVID and Pneumonia after a lengthy battle with both illnesses. This was confirmed by his family on Facebook and was admitted to a hospital back on August 14th. Diagnosed a week before, he updated his fans regularly on what was going on in his life. Bashurverse, who originally came to fame through his scripted Minecraft series, “The Legend of the Hobo” has unfortunately succumbed to COVID.
A Long Battle With COVID-19:
Back on August 26th, Bashurverse thanked all of his fans for the support and helping him fight COVID, and it’s a shame he was announced dead during this pandemic. The YouTuber had 1.58M followers, even though he took a two-year hiatus (2017-2019) due to allegations made about him. Under the new name, ToastyTime, he returned to content creation. He spent most of his time fighting COVID in an ICU, connected to intravenous lines.
His sister, Anesa wrote about Brandon “Bashurverse” Ashur and him falling to COVID:
“My brother fought COVID, and unfortunately lost the battle. I cannot believe this is happening… He was amazing. He is amazing. There are so many things I could say, but I don’t think I could even put our lives into words if I wanted to,” she continued. “Why is this beast so terrible? Why did it have to get you? You have faced so many challenges in your 36 years, never would I imagine we would lose you to a pandemic. He fought so many demons all while saving millions of people without even realizing it. I cannot believe [this] is happening. He withstood every stupid comment made by the people who wanted him to fail. He was amazing. He is amazing. I hate this so much.“
It’s certainly unfortunate to hear about another struggle with COVID ending in death, even someone mired in controversy. Brandon “Bashurverse” Ashur, aged 36, is now dead, from COVID and Pneumonia.
