Valorant Replication Mode Promises Chaotic Action
Episode 2 Act 3 of Valorant will be wild if this Replication mode is anything to go by. We’ll say one thing for Riot, they’re great at making unique, worthwhile game modes. If the leaks are anything to go by, it will be similar to the League of Legends One-For-All mode. In that LTM, all players on a team had the same character, determined by a vote. While there aren’t a whole lot of details going around on Valorant’s Replication mode, it sounds like it could very well be something to this.
Five Jets? Pure Chaos
As with all leaks, do take them with a grain of salt. ValorantUpdates on Twitter has been pretty reliable so far, and they did leak a pair of teasers with video of this Replication mode in Valorant. One of them appears that a flood of smokes drop at once. The question is, though, did they come from one Brimstone or several? Other speculation could lead it to be a way to spam abilities off cooldown, such as an Unlimited Abilities orb.
It’s more likely that Replication mode will be a One-For-All mode, where everyone plays the same character. Then another teaser was leaked, with a horde of tigers rushing a player down and someone being hit with Flash, after Flash, courtesy of Skye. That part sounds significantly less exciting (unless you’re the one spamming the Flash abilities, that is).
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of real news about this mode. It could be dropping around 2.09, though, since that’s coming very soon. These teasers are fully fleshed out, leading us to suspect we won’t have to wait long to see what this mode can be. There are quite a few characters in Valorant that running five of would be hilarious, and others that would be soul-crushing. Hopefully, we get an answer soon because we’re dying to know how close to the mark we are for Replication mode.
