Fortnite has had its fair share of visitors from beyond the stars, such as the Xenomorph from the Alien series. However, it looks like the game’s take on the extraterrestrial had found the island from Fortnite and are stealing players away. Players have noticed that a bright light will appear in some locations, pull players in, and then drop them somewhere else.

While many have seen it happen and posted their experiences onto Twitter, one thing is for certain; the aliens and their UFOs are not here to do any harm to the characters of Fortnite, at least not yet.

As of now, anyone who is unfortunate, or fortunate enough depending on how you look at it, to encounter one of these UFOs will be pulled into the light they admit and dropped off on a random part of the Fortnite map, although instead of being experimented on, players will find themselves with 100 Health and Shield. This form of transportation is similar to the Zero Point teleport mechanic, although players will have to wait for their ride to arrive.

However, this may not be the first time players have heard of the aliens making their way to the game, as some leaks discussing the event were revealed a few weeks ago. The animation used while the player is being dragged into the sky to be taken away in the alien craft was found, as well as some code describing what would happen to players if they found themselves being whisked away by the visitors from beyond the stars.

With these leaks appearing to be correct, players are pondering what exactly the purpose of the alien invaders is going to be, as players are only days away from the end of season 6. Season 7 has many possibilities with the inclusion of extraterrestrial invaders. Will the aliens find their way into the game and play the role of the IO soldiers, giving players weapons and gear if they manage to defeat them, or will the aliens play a more helpful role in the game by assisting players? Will the aliens make a massive change to the island just as the Zero Point did when its arc was complete? Many questions remain about what the end of the season entails. For now, it appears as if the aliens are scouting the Fortnite island, looking for something.
