Twitch Prime Users Get Free MTG Arena Deck for War of the Spark

Wizard of the Coast is bringing their largest expansion yet to Magic: The Gathering very soon, but in the meantime, there is a free MTG Arena deck that players can receive soon. However,  in order to acess the free deck, you must be a current Twitch Prime subscriber.

The announcement came during an early access streaming event. A banner was shown during the event that says that Twitch Prime users can get a free MTG Arena deck to celebrate the new expansion.

The banner also shows an image of Boros with the slogan to join the Boros Legion, so it is likely this will be a Boros deck.

Since the War of the Spark expansion is releasing very soon, it is also possible that this premade deck will include brand new cards from it. This is an excellent promotion for both veterans and newcomers alike.

Veterans will get the chance to potentially try out some new cards for free. At the same time, newcomers will have the opportunity to get a fresh deck that is ready for play.

How to Get Free MTG Arena Deck

It’s worth noting that if you (or someone you know) have an active Amazon Prime subscription right now, then you automatically have Twitch Prime included. In order to use it, though, you will need to activate it. We recommend heading to this link right here to find out how to connect your two accounts.

If you don’t actually have Amazon Prime right now, that’s no problem either. You can certainly go ahead and sign up for a free trial for it so you can get Twitch Prime as well. Alternatively, you can sign up for a Twitch Prime free trial if you’ve already gotten Amazon Prime before.

Regardless, once you have Twitch Prime activated on your account, all you need to do is head to this link here. There, you will find all of the current loot that you can receive for free, including the free MTG Arena deck. While the deck isn’t available right now, it’s likely because the expansion isn’t out just yet.

The War of the Spark expansion is the largest one for the game and will be releasing in early access on April 27, while the main release date will be on May 3. It will bring with it 36 new Planeswalkers and more than 250 new cards to collect.

If you play the digital version of the game, though, you’ll get it even earlier than that. Players on Magic: The Gathering Arena will be able to check out the War of the Spark expansion on April 25.
