Turbopolsa Dropped, Miztik Leaves Bricks, More – Rocket League News
It’s been a whirlwind of roster changes Rocket League scene, with several teams, including world powerhouse Dignitas, moving players off their starting rosters today.
Digin’ it out – Turbopolsa Dropped
The first and perhaps largest change today was the announcement that three-time RLCS World Champion Pierre “Turbopolsa” Silfver has been released from Dignitas. With Turbopolsa dropped, that leaves ViolentPanda as the last remaining player on the squad from the original Gale Force roster that won back-to-back World Championships in 2016 and 2017.
No one has been officially announced as his replacement at this time, though there should be an announcement in the coming days as to who their third will be for DreamHack Valencia.
Hitting the Bricks
Rumors have been flying that Dignitas was looking at Speed as a replacement for Turbopolsa following his release, but those rumors have already been quashed.
The Bricks, formerly FlipSid3, announced today that Speed would be staying on the roster for Valencia, along with Kuxir97 newcomers Al0t. This announcement, shared via Al0t’s Twitter, also confirms the rumor that Miztik will be leaving the roster following the roster’s recent qualification for the European RLCS for Season 8.
Alright since @Speed_RL announced it on his stream

I'll be playing Dreamhack valencia w/ @kuxir97 & @Speed_RL
gotta take another LAN with hearing speeds fucking voice…….
The roster change has come as little surprise to the community, as many noted Miztik’s inconsistency on the roster. He would either perform exceptionally well or very poorly, rarely if ever in between. The team hopes to find a bit more consistency in their performance following the changes.
Small Changes Elsewhere
Some big changes have also occurred in the past week for American org Evil Geniuses (EG) and struggling European team Method.
EG announced last Sunday that they would be dropping two-thirds of their starting line-up, with CorruptedG and Klassux leaving the roster and only Drippay remaining. The loss of the two players marks an end of an era, as the two players were the last members from the original Equinox line-up that EG picked up last year. No replacements have been announced at this time.
Method also announced a player leaving their roster today, with Oscillion being removed following the teams early Day 2 exit from DreamHack Pro Circuit Dallas. The team, like many today, has not confirmed a replacement for the former player, though an announcement is expected later this week.
That’s it for Rocket League roster changes today. With three teams in the qualifier and/or main event for Valencia facing incomplete rosters, and only a little over two weeks to go, the Rocket League scene is looking to be shaking up. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you covered as the situation with these teams continues to develop.
