Team Vitality Signs Dioud as Official Brazil Ambassador
Team Vitality is officially expanding into Brazil and signed Hugo “Dioud” Padioleau as their official ambassador for the area. With his 890,000 followers, Team Vitality aims to make a push for content creation and a variety of projects within Brazil. Team Vitality and Dioud coming together likely means very good things for the org as it makes its way into Brazil.
Bridging the Gap
Through the Dioud and Team Vitality partnership, the French org is looking to bridge the gap between the French and Brazilian communities. Dioud will be responsible for a variety of content with Team Vitality on his social media and will have Team Vitality merch to wear. One of the major goals for Team Vitality appears to be to understand and learn more about the Brazilian fans in hopes of reaching more of the LATAM community.

Hugo “Dioud” Padioleau had this to say about being the Team Vitality ambassador for Brazil:
“I’m so excited to join Team Vitality as their first brand ambassador in Brazil. Being able to represent both France and Brazil is important to me, and being able to do that alongside a huge brand such as Team Vitality is a dream come true. I can’t wait to show my fans and the Brazilian community all the great projects we have coming up.”
To this end, they’re going to help foster some League of Legends talent, with an open tournament based on the classic League Ranked Mode. Those who win will have an opportunity to play with some of the best players in Europe and be seen through Dioud’s social media on top of that. This is a great way to try and highlight local Brazilian up-and-comers instead of just bringing in a bunch of established pros.
President and Co-Founder of Team Vitality, Fabien “Neo” Divide spoke about the announcement:
“Team Vitality is excited to welcome Hugo “Dioud” Padioleau as its official ambassador for Brazil as we look to achieve our goal of becoming a truly global esports organization. We have followed Dioud’s esports career from France to Brazil, and with such an active presence and dedicated fan base in region, we believe he will play an integral part in our commitment to develop esports talent in Brazil and the LATAM community.”
Dioud’s not exactly a newcomer either. Starting off in France, he’s played for NiP, and being a support for paiN Gaming, which took him to Brazil in 2015 as the first foreign League of Legends player to have a work visa in Brazil, which is pretty big. He’s grown a pretty devoted Latin American following and is one of the biggest League of Legends content creators in the region.
We’re looking forward to seeing some new talent pop up in LATAM, and this could be just the way to do it.
