T-Pain and Voicemod Partner to Encourage Change and Racial Equality
Voicemod is the creator of the No. 1 desktop app for real-time voice modification, and they have a new mobile app dropping for iOS. The Android version is coming, as well. What better way to announce a new free app than with a contest? Grammy-winning rapper and producer T-Pain will hold a contest for users of the free Voicemod Clips app. The goal is to challenge users of the app to “Get Up” to support crime survivors for safety and justice. Let’s learn more!
Can You Impress T-Pain?
I mean, this writer can’t. But you might have what it takes! Voicemod and T-Pain have come together, though, and Voicemod Clips launches today. It will let users easily create and share videos, accompanied by custom audio tracks. In a way, it reminds us of TikTok, but far more creative and interesting. Voicemod Clips will give a variety of facial and audio filters so that the users can change their look and voice to create a whole new identity!
The original desktop Voicemod app has been downloaded more than 10 million times by all sorts of users, gamers and influencers alike. Voicemod Clips users can use one of 12 filters and share their videos on their favorite social media outlet. However, you don’t have to worry about it being boring by only offering just those 12 filters. The filters will rotate around daily from a library of 60+ (but more are constantly being developed). It sounds like you’re going to have options for your creativity! That’s what matters.
“We’re very excited to bring our technology to mobile users today through Voicemod Clips,” said Jamie Bosch, CEO of Voicemod Spoke. “Our core technology has been about letting people express themselves through sound, and now, with Voicemod Clips, they can show off their personalities and creativity through both sound and video on mobile!”
We did mention a contest, so let’s get into that. T-Pain teamed up with Voicemod for a special contest based on his latest track, “Get Up.” You’ll use Voicemod Clips to make your cover of “Get Up” through a special instrumental in Voicemod Clips. You’ll also have access to the same voice filter that T-Pain used in the song.
Racial tensions and injustice are rampant. This campaign inspires advocates to take a stand and challenge those around them to make a difference in the face of adversity. With that in mind, all proceeds from the song will go to Crime Survivors for Saftey and Justice. As far as the contest goes, the winners will be picked by T-Pain and the Voidmod team, with five winning entries receiving signed T-Pain merch.
“This partnership with Voicemod has been a long time coming. I’ve been using their desktop version for a while now when I’m gaming,” T-Pain said. “I was pretty excited when they reached out about doing something together. I hope people have as much fun with it as I do. The fact that they are now taking their technology to mobile just makes it so much more accessible for people. Get Up and use that T-Pain voice and filter. Let’s go!!”
The contest will run from July 21-Aug. 8. The videos you create should be shared via the hashtag #GetUpChallenge. We hope that the Android version won’t be far behind! Perhaps the best part of the app, if you ask us: No ads! That’s right, no annoying popups to ruin the experience.
