Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, and Gearbox Are Official For E3 2021

by in General | May, 7th 2021

The Electronic Enterntainment Expo (E3) is shaping up to be one heck of an event this year— historic, one might add! As if the first slew of attendees for the 2021 event wasn’t a big enough reason to get excited, we’ve now gotten official confirmation from E3 that the following gaming giants will also make an appearance: Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Sega, and Gearbox Entertainment! They’ll join Nintendo, Microsoft, Capcom, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Games, and Koch Media at this year’s “online-only” E3 expo. Needless to say, this is about as stacked a list as it gets! And, of course, watching this year’s event will be an absolute must.

E3 2021 Is Going to be Monumental

The fact that revered developers like Square Enix, and publishers like Nintendo have confirmed their attendance only makes E3 2021 all the more monumental. Heck, we’re putting it mildly here! We’re bound to witness a metric ton of surprises along with an equal number of brand-new reveals and announcements — most of which will surely be tied to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X. That said, with PC still being the most popular platform (not that it was ever in “danger” of losing its throne), it’s fair to expect this age-old platform to get a lot of attention as well.

Moreover, this list is by no means final — it’ll still grow as we inch closer to the Electronic Entertainment Expo! That said, don’t expect any big surprises in that regard as the biggest attendees have probably already been made official. After all, it takes a lot of time and effort to organize a respectable showing at E3, as evidenced by the recent news of Konami bailing out.

E3 2021 is scheduled for June 12-15, so make sure to mark your calendars! We can’t wait to see what these venerable publishers and developers have been working on over the last couple of years, and if history is any indication, we should definitely be in for a couple of mind-blowing surprises!
