PUBG’s Latest Update Adds the Skorpion Pistol

The brand-new Skorpion pistol has both single fire and full auto fire modes. It takes 9mm bullets, and a regular magazine holds up to 20 rounds. An extended magazine brings a maximum of 40 rounds.

Attachments include the red dot sight and suppressor. However, the Skorpion is the first pistol in PUBG to use grips and stock. The pistol is compatible with the vertical foregrip, half grip, light grip, and the laser sight. The stock used for the Skorpion is the same used for the Micro UZI.

Also new is War Mode: Conquest. This game mode sets two platoons of 50 players against each other to capture and hold objectives. The platoon earns points as you hold onto the objectives and the team with the highest score wins. Conquest mode can be customized to allow for different sized capture areas.

A new anti-cheat measure allows players in event mode to report their killers. By pressing the “R” key while spectating, you can now report an opponent who previously eliminated you. Reports can also be submitted on the death screen. The eight most recent players to eliminate you will be displayed as available to report. Victims of friendly fire can report their teammates. Each player can only make one report per game.

In response to requests from the player base, PUBG has toned down the opacity of the blue zone, making it easier to see through. Further, PUBG mitigated an issue with variations in the blue zone’s opacity due to the map and weather type.

Lastly, PUBG made two updates as part of their “Fix PUBG” campaign. The first update was to the user-interface guides. PUBG added an on-screen key guide function which shows dynamic key guides on the gameplay situation. The second update fixed a bug that allowed players to use their weapons while swimming.
