PUBG Mobile Angry Birds Sound Problems Are Now Fixed
PUBG Mobile has a lot going for it right now, being one of the biggest and most dedicated mobile games on Android and iOS. This has led to many crossovers in the game in the past but the latest crossover in the game has resulted in some frustrating issues for players online.
Tencent Releases Quick PUBG Mobile Update to Address Some Issues
To address many of the issues that have popped up recently, Tencent has released a quick PUBG Mobile update. A lot of these issues have popped up recently or were actually caused by the recent update 0.16. That was a massive update that changed up the game considerably.
It added a lot of new features and changed much in the game but the update was also met with some problems of its own. It started the Angry Birds crossover event, which is one of the strangest collaborations that the popular battle royale game has had in recent memory.

To address the PUBG Mobile Angry Birds sound issues and other problems, Tencent has released a new update for players to download. It is available on both Android and iOS, and should fix many of the problems that players are experiencing since the last update recently.
Of course, this does also mean that it is a tiny update that doesn’t really add anything new to the game at all. Instead, it is a hotfix patch that is meant to address those problems and more. It all starts with the first issue that is also the most requested one from the community.
PUBG Mobile Angry Birds Sound Issues Should Be Fixed Now
Addressed first in the patch notes that were released on Reddit is a fix for the PUBG Mobile Angry Birds sound issues. With the release of update 0.16, a crossover event began with popular mobile battle royale game and the massive Angry Birds franchise.
You may be wondering why such a crossover would happen when Angry Birds really has nothing at all to do with battle royale. Well, it is the 10th anniversary of the game dropping on mobile and quickly becoming the massive worldwide phenomenon that it is today.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the crossover began. How it worked is that players could find a little minigame to tie them over while waiting for a new match to start. While in the spawn area where players have to wait for the match to fill up, you can play a minigame that is reminiscent of the original game.
Players are able to take some of the birds the game gives to them and throw them at decoy pigs in the starting area. This is a lot like the original game that it is based on where players flick little mad birds at various maps to destroy them and get revenge against the evil pigs.
While this is a cute minigame that players are able to enjoy, there is a massive problem with the crossover. Players have been constantly annoyed by the event because of the PUBG Mobile Angry Birds sound issues. Flicking one of the birds at the pigs will result in a loud chirping sound.
For some reason, the sound is fairly loud in the starting area and it is unrelenting in its annoyance. With around 100 players in the same vicinity throwing these birds everywhere, the sound can be troublesome. The worst part is that it isn’t optimized at all so walking away from other players doesn’t help much.
This is especially a bad problem for those players who use headphones while they are playing the game. It is frustrating and, since launch, players have been flooding any posts about the mobile battle royale game asking for a PUBG Mobile Angry Birds sound issues fix.
Thankfully, this smaller update addresses the problem and fixes it. The patch notes on Reddit note that the update has fixed the issue where the bird grenade items were too loud when thrown. Players should experience a substantially less annoying minigame now but if you are still affected by this, be sure to reach out and let Tencent know.
All Other Fixes in This Smaller Update
But the latest update for the game isn’t just about fixing the PUBG Mobile Angry Birds sound issues. There are other fixes that are available in this update, continuing with some match problems. There is now a fix for the vehicle respawn issue while playing in the Payload game mode.
When it comes to Team Deathmatch, the firearm attachments should now appear correctly in the player’s loadout. In addition, the Team Deathmatch results screens should now show properly after the match rather than skipping it like it was for some players before.
When it comes to general throwable items beyond the bird grenades from the crossover, an error has been fixed for where the items would be thrown automatically or just in an incorrect way. There is also a fix for the customization settings not switching to the current mode when opening up the customization window.
With this update, players should now be able to tap the friend invitation panel on the left side of the screen while in the main menu. In addition, the respawn timers for vehicles should be fixed in the new RageGear game mode that was added with the release of update 0.16.
Speaking of RageGear, there is also a fix for times when the seat change feature would sometimes fail in the game mode. For the new game mode, there is also a fix for the item button not showing up when using the joystick controls in RageGear.
The ornament dismantling tab and the silver quantity should now show up and work correctly. There are also some fixes for the display issues in Ecstatic Night login event items, tips, and error messages. The responsiveness of the ad banner has also been addressed.
There are fixes in this update for some various localization issues that were not detailed. Last but not least, the update fixed a strange error where the game would keep asking players to download additional resource packs even when the full game is already downloaded under cellular data.
This was a rather small update that was released for the game on both Android and iOS as you can see but it is still an important one nonetheless. You can find the full patch notes thread on Reddit where the developer has actually responded directly to some players in the game regarding problems.
