Playwire, Overwolf, and JAKKS Pacific Team Up for the 2020 Legends Challenge
When three giants like Playwire, Overwolf, and JAKKS Pacific announce a joint venture, you know it’s going to be good! The 2020 Legends Challenge is what we’re referring to here, a brand-new event focusing on the game’s true fans! It starts on Saturday, Dec. 5 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 13.
That’s nine full days for you to complete the weekly Apex Legends in-game challenges for a chance to win a $2,500 gaming rig. There’s more to the prize pool than just that – more information is coming right up!
Interesting Facts on the 2020 Legends Challenge
- The 2020 Legends Challenge starts on Saturday, Dec. 5 and ends on Sunday, Dec. 13. The event only occurs on the weekends, so make sure you time your Duos if you want to be eligible for the main prizes.
- As stated earlier, the main prize is a $2,500 gaming rig. Additionally, you’ll also get a chance to win detailed and 25-points articulated Collectible Action Figures. Yep, just in time for the holiday season.
- The competition will be tough! Eric Ngo (xBaronful) and Tanner Trebb (Rogue) already announced they would participate in the event. You better watch your back in Duos, guys!
How to Participate in the 2020 Legends Challenge
The 2020 Legends Challenge is only available for gamers located in the U.S. To enter the competition, you need to have one of the following apps installed on your system:
- Apex Legends Tracker
They are available on the Overwolf App Store. You’ll need to sign into the challenge with your Overwolf account.
Once you get all that sorted out, you’ll need to complete the challenge. It’s nothing too demanding. The hard part is that you need to win a Duos match in Apex Legends. The easy part is pretty straightforward. Share your win on Twitter and you’ll win $5 to spend on in-game items. More importantly, you’ll enter the $2,500 gaming rig and Apex Legends Figures giveaway; that’s where the fun’s at!
