Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Second Beta Launches on May 5
Owlcat Games announced that the second beta for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is nearly here! For those who took part in the game’s Kickstarter or the Slacker Backer campaigns in the appropriate tiers, you will be able to take part on May 5. For those who were in the first beta, you need to update your game file to join in. All of the content in the previous beta will be there and some exciting new ground to explore.
What Awaits in Beta 2?
This is the last beta for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous CRPG before the game’s official launch. This is as close to the finished product as we’re going to see. We think it will show off just how enjoyable the next Pathfinder will be. For example, we can expect the final UI: a talking weapon companion, never-before-seen side quests, and new content, such as the Crusade gameplay.
“Our studio is excited for fans to once again embark on a Mythic Path and immerse themselves in well over 50 hours of spellbinding content,” said Alexander Mishulin, creative director of Pathfinder. “We plan on carefully monitoring feedback as we gear up for the game’s launch later this year, just as we did during our first beta this past February.”
Fans of the Paizo tabletop RPG are surely going to find something to enjoy here. The Wrath of the Righteous beta shows us a peek at the sequel to Pathfinder: Kingmaker. In Wrath of the Righteous, a crusade between mortals and demons awaits, and it sounds like players will be able to steer the conflict in the direction they choose, as well as pick from a variety of Mythic Paths. Each of these will influence combat, and we can’t wait to see what comes from the next Pathfinder game.
