The inaugural Overwatch League All-Star Weekend is set to begin tomorrow, August 25 at 4 p.m. PDT and will run till Sunday. The event will be held at the Blizzard Arena in Burbank, Calif.

The Overwatch League All-Star Weekend will kick off Saturday with five custom skill matches. The five custom matches are Lúcioball Showdown, Mystery Heroes, Widowmaker 1v1, Talent Takedown, and Lockout Elimination. Listed below are the details and rules for each of the five custom skill matches:

  • LúcioBall Showdown – There will be two teams of Lúcios battling it out to boop a ball into a net. The series will be best-of-three between the Atlantic and Pacific divisions. Each map will last five minutes, and it will have standard Lúcioball settings.
  • Mystery Heroes – Everytime a player respawns, they will be assigned a random hero. Once again it will be a best-of-three series between the Atlantic and Pacific divisions. It will only be played on control maps. It will have a standard 6v6 mystery heroes’ settings.
  • Widowmaker 1v1 – The top Widowmaker players from the Atlantic and Pacific teams will compete in a 1v1 match. The format for the match will be a headshots only elimination bracket. The quarterfinals and semifinals matches are first to five eliminations, while the finals are the first to seven.
  • Talent Takedown – This game might be the best one for the viewers because the Atlantic and Pacific team coaches will draft teams of Overwatch League casters and analysts to play in a best-of-three series. The players in the meantime will help cast the match.
  • Lockout Elimination – The final game mode that will take place is Lockout Elimination, where the two teams will play a best-of-three series. In Lockout Elimination, players do not respawn until the next round begins. The first team to win three rounds wins the map.

The final day of the Overwatch League All-Star Weekend will consist of the All-Star Game that is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PDT on Sunday. The Atlantic and Pacific division teams will compete in a best-of-five series. All 18 players on each team must play at least one map. The map rotation for the All-Star game is King’s Row, Rialto, Horizon Lunar Colony, Route 66 and Ilios.
