Nickmercs Is Skeptical of Warzone Season 3
It doesn’t seem like there is a whole lot of hype for Warzone Season 3, from Nickmercs or the fanbase in general. So far we know there’s a “new map” of Verdansk in the 80s, and at least a pair of new Operators (Wraith and 1984’s Captain Prize) and new weapons. While there is an image with some content updates that are coming in Season 3, some of us are a little underwhelmed. In particular, Nickmercs is hopeful but doesn’t seem to be expecting much. Season 2’s update was the one we expected so much and received so little. Will Season 3 be different?
Skeptical But A Little Hopeful
It’s almost time for Warzone Season 3, and while there is new content, we imagine people are hoping for major changes. We know that the Verdansk map is likely to change, but if it’s just a reskin and nothing more? We imagine more people than not are going to be upset. Nickmercs of FaZe Clan uploaded a video recently before the Warzone Season 3 announcements went up.
After talking about the stuff we already know, Nickmercs went on about his personal thoughts:
“I’m a little skeptical, you know what I’m saying. I want to see some really good guns get dropped, I want to see new content. I hope this map, I know we’re going back in time on the same map but I still hope that it’s a lot of new and cool things,. I’m hopeful, I’m just not too hopeful and I don’t want to be let down again, you know what I mean.”
We won’t have to wait long at all to see how the CoD community reacts to season 3 of Warzone, Nickmercs, or otherwise. On April 21st, at 9 pm PST, the update drops, and we’ll see what’s going to drop officially. What would we like to see? This writer wants sweeping bug fixes and balance, and if we’re going to really get a new Verdansk, let’s make sure it’s at least different from the current. Considering it would be set in the 1980s, there would surely be some differences.
Some weapons that tease the future would be nice too, like WWII guns. Since we’re fairly confident WWII is going to be the next CoD setting, having guns that will be in the game to try out a little early might be sort of interesting. We have no idea what’s truly in store, but we are also cautiously optimistic. Don’t let us down, Raven Software.
