Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs Cosmetics Leak
Yet another Call of Duty Modern Warfare leak has potentially happened in the game and revealed some new cosmetic items in the process that are likely coming to both Modern Warfare and its battle royale spin-off companion Warzone. The leaked items come from the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack.
Call of Duty League Champs Pack Leaks
The data mine was revealed by the site Call of Duty Tracker that is usually pretty good about finding new items and other leaks and sharing them for players to see. Though you should take this with a grain of salt since it isn’t confirmed, the leaked cosmetic items certainly have some weight.
The possibly leaked Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack is what it sounds like and includes some centered around the popular Call of Duty League in its first season. What is important to note about this is that it has the “Champs” word in the title of it.
In the past, we have had some Call of Duty League-themed items but this is the first time that it has been called something like that. This doesn’t mean, though, that the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack will be composed of only items centered around the champion team of the league.
That isn’t even possible to make right now as the league is still in its first season, and the championship is about a month or so away in August. As such, no champion has been determined, which would contradict the items we have that are already leaked and can be seen.
Weapon Blueprints Are Part of the Pack
This isn’t a minimal leak where you have a file name and description, as we have images of what the in-game models of these items will likely look like when they release soon. This means that they are rather far in development and could be released very soon.
The in-game description of the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack states that the pack will include a variety of items like new weapon blueprints that you can’t find anywhere else, two charms, three calling cards, three emblems, and three different sprays.
Starting with the weapon blueprints, the Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack includes three of these that you can pick up in this pack. Rather than have cosmetic items, this bundle also includes some blueprint weapons that you can use in combat in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.
The first of these is a Call of Duty League Champs 2020 M4 assault rifle that is of the legendary variety and includes attachments customized by the pros. The pro players who make up the league have agreed upon these items, and they are being offered for players to purchase.
Charms and Signatures Also Included
In addition to that M4 blueprint, there is a Call of Duty League Champs 2020 legendary HDR blueprint for those of you who like this weapon. And lastly, for blueprints, there is a Call of Duty League Champs 2020 M19 pistol legendary weapon blueprint that you can get.
In addition to those things, there are two major charms that you can attach to your weapons and show off to everyone. The first is the Call of Duty League Champs 2020 ring epic charm that you can use to show your support for the league and how you might be a champ in your way.
The other is the Call of Duty League Champs 2020 gold epic charm, which seems to be a charm similar to that of the possible trophy handed out to the champion team of this inaugural season. But those are only the beginning of the various items that you can get in this bundle.
The Modern Warfare Call of Duty League Champs pack also includes three special calling cards based around the league, three special emblems, and three sprays. Then there are 55 player signatures that you can get that are actual signatures from 55 of the players in the league.
One team Isn’t Included in the Signatures
Those 55 signatures come from the five starting players of 11 teams in the Call of Duty League. This is great as you will be able to show off your love and support of your favorite team in the league, but your favorite pro player from that particular team.
What is odd about the signature situation, though, is the fact that you are only getting 55. That might sound like we are spoiled, but it misses five starting players from one more team in the league. Because this is a leak, we don’t know right now what team or players are missing.
And also, we have no idea why that particular team is missing from this bundle and why you aren’t able to acquire the five starting players from it. We doubt that this is relegated only to the worst team in the league, as that is still up in the air, with several events still left in the season.
Instead, it is more likely that this missing team is not in the bundle because of some agreement or what have you with their franchise owners. It is possible that there couldn’t be some contractual agreement to have the team and players offer their signatures in the bundle.
This does seem weird since there is also the Call of Duty League Drops that you can get by watching the live streams. You can get items there from all 12 teams, so it seems weird for this to be the case for only this single bundle. Stay tuned for the official confirmation of this bundle in the future.
