The League of Legends Worlds 2021 Song is Finally Here

As is tradition, the release of 2021’s League of Legends Worlds song was accompanied by a high-fidelity music video featuring appearances from multiple pro players including Showmaker of DWG as well as a tasteful nod to Faker which is bound to excite fans across the globe. In the music video, we see several pro players entering an arena facing off with some of the weapons & abilities used by the champions they’re best known for. It’s an excellently animated video with action that will entertain even if you aren’t a dedicated League of Legends fan. With an animation style that’s at times reminiscent of what we’ve seen of the upcoming League of Legends TV show, Arcane.

For the uninitiated, the annual release of the League of Legends World Championships song is quite an event in the industry. In the weeks leading up to the tournament, fans are rabid. At times seeming more interested in the upcoming song than the event itself. Within minutes the music video accrued over 200,000 views and by this time tomorrow that number is bound to multiply by an order of magnitude. While Worlds 2021 play-ins have yet to begin, the excitement is palpable.
