Karmine Corp Have Reportedly Finalized a Deal With LEC Veteran Cabochard
If you’re a fan of Karmine Corp — as so many folks are — then you’ll surely be elated to find out that they’ve finalized a deal with none other than Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet! This seasoned LEC veteran has been absent from the scene ever since he parted ways with Team Vitality a couple of months ago.
In a way, it felt like he never got his due for the many years of “service” and exceptional play on the LEC stage. Cabochard is a legend through and through and even though he didn’t look all that hot in the waning years of Team Vitality, he’s still more than capable of competing at the highest of levels — you just need to give him a solid enough team and he’ll deliver like clockwork. Even though Cabo was Vitality’s marquee player, they didn’t exactly do him right at the end of his five-year stint with the organization. Then again, the same can be said for the rest of that line-up as well. None of those players were ever truly set up for success, so the fact that they failed to mount an offensive and leave a mark should come as no surprise. But signing for Karmine Corp, the most popular French organization at this moment in time is not only a match made in heaven but also a career choice that makes all the sense in the world.
Karmine Corp Cabochard — A Shot At Redemption
We know for a fact that Cabochard is better than what he’d shown back in 2020 under the Team Vitality banner. You can only do so well and look so good when the rest of your team is struggling with even the most basic things. With Cabochard being one the most famous French players of all time (alongside the venerable Paul “sOAZ” Boyer), pairing him with Karmine Corp who’ve just broken onto the scene in the most impressive of fashions seems like an absolute no-brainer.
Their previous top laner is slated to join Fnatic for the upcoming LEC split, which means the stage has been set for Cabochard’s return. In fact, one could argue that this is the best-case scenario for both players. Adam “Adam” Maanane will get to hone his skills and compete on the LEC stage for the former “Kings of Europe,” whereas Cabochard will get a well-deserved shot at redemption with one of the most popular organizations in all of Europe. The following KCorp has been able to amass is nothing short of awe-inspiring, and with Cabochard aboard, they’ll have all the right tools to once again make history in the upcoming LFL split and even the subsequent EU Masters Summer that’s scheduled to begin sometime in August.
All in all, watching Karmine Corp will be an absolute must!
