How Much Does Valkyrae Make on Youtube?
Honestly, it’s been a pretty great year for Rachaell “Valkyrae” Hoffstetter. The crowning achievement of the year was to win her Content Creator of the Year during The Game Awards. That was such a huge achievement, showing just how powerful and talented female content creators are in the esports/streaming sphere. However, Valkyrae accidentally leaked her Youtube earnings during a livestream. So, how much does Valkyrae make? She’s not struggling, that’s for sure. It sounds like her going to Youtube was definitely a terrific move, all told.
A lot of this growth came from Valkyrae streaming Among Us. It’s essentially the only game she’s been playing. Eventually, that game’s hype might die out. The question is “Will Valkyrae shift gears and stay as popular as she is?” and we have an easy answer. Of course, she will. It’s clear she’s got her finger on the pulse of what’s popular right now.
You also have to consider that Among Us had half a billion active players last month. The hype behind it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
How Much Does Valkyrae Make, Anyway?
It turns out, the Content Creator of the Year is taking home some pretty serious paychecks through Youtube. This likely does not factor in sponsorships or other deals, either. But according to this accidental leak, we can answer how much Valkyrae does make. From Youtube alone, Valkyrae is taking home about 150,000 USD a month! That again is before any other money that comes in.
This isn’t a way to take Valkyrae down a peg or to knock her grind. Far from it. In a way, it can be seen as a goal for other female streamers or anyone else that has a dream. It’s important to be authentic, be yourself, and work hard. Valkyrae definitely worked hard to get that kind of monthly payday. She didn’t break any rules by doing this, but it didn’t seem to be on purpose. After watching, it doesn’t seem to us like it was a way to flex.
According to the leak, Valkyrae’s videos and streams earned her $172,908.21 in the 28 day period. This was actually a drop of 6% compared to the previous period. According to a Youtube exec, Ryan Wyatt, Valkyrae is the fastest-growing streamer in the world. She has over 30 million views and over 8 million hours of watch time on her content. Combine that with more than 2 million followers, this kind of income is not really a surprise.
It doesn’t hurt that she’s a part of 100 Thieves, either. They are a major org in America, and no doubt there are plenty of paydays and sponsorships that come with that. It’s no big secret what Valkyrae does make on Youtube, but we’re not mad about it. We love to see streamers getting the bag and earning a comfortable living doing something they love, and making a positive impact on our community.
