Hearthstone Dalaran Heist Release Date Announced, Introduces Zayle Card

The Hearthstone Dalaran Heist is set to bring something entirely new to the card game when the upcoming Rise of Shadows expansion releases. We now have a release date for the card game’s latest single-player adventure and players will be able to enjoy it on May 16.

Not only is this bringing new solo content for players to enjoy, but some brand new ways to play as well. This upcoming mode will allow players to enjoy a healthy bit of content against the computer, instead of real players.

Dalaran Heist Details

The mode will feature five different wings or sections of the adventure with the first wing being available on day one, May 16. Each of the remaining four wings will release one at a time every week for four weeks. Presumably, the content will be permanent and limited time only, but this is uncertain currently.

There are a couple of different ways that players can enjoy the Hearthstone Dalaran Heist content. For starters, the first wing will be completely free when it drops next week for everyone. This allows each player, no matter which platform, to jump in free of charge and see what it’s all about.

At the same time, though, the rest of the five wings will be paid only. There are two ways that you can purchase the rest of the content. The first way is by using gold currency. Each wing will cost 700 gold each or 2800 gold in total.

On the other hand, you can go ahead and buy the four other wings for $19.99 total, which equals to around five dollars each. There are plenty of options so it really depends on whether or not you wish to spend real money on getting the content.

It’s worth noting, though, that if you pay with real money at the start for all of the sections, you will still have to wait until they release each week in order to play through them. It seems that Blizzard is sticking to this weekly content structure no matter what, which is good since it gives players a reason to come back.

And there is a great reason to keep coming back to finish this content, too, since there is an awesome reward waiting for players at the end of the Hearthstone Dalaran Heist mode. If you stick around and complete all five chapters of the mode, you will receive a special card.

You will get the Zayle Shadow Cloak card, which is a 3/2 card that costs two mana. It is only the second card in the game to work similarly to the Whizbang the Wonderful card in that using it will give the player one of five pre-built decks that are unique.

We don’t currently know anything about what these decks will entail, so you will have to stay tuned for more info on that. What we do know, though, for what it’s worth, is that the Zayle Shadow Cloak card will give you an “EVIL” deck. Whatever that means.

Players won’t have to wait much longer for the Hearthstone Dalaran Heist mode and Rise of Shadows expansion, since they launch May 16. This is the 11th expansion to release for the game thus far and comes with a grand total of 135 cards for players to collect as well as the Madame Luzul priest hero.
