Hades Is Hitting it Big With Numerous Console Releases, Xbox Game Pass!
If you’re a fan of Hades — like so many of us — you’ll be happy to learn that this gem of a roguelike from Supergiant Games is finally “hitting it big!” We already reported on this exciting bit of news a while ago, but getting official confirmation is the moment we’re always looking forward to! Not only will Hades be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X, but it’ll also arrive on Xbox Game Pass (for both Console and PC subscribers)!
August 13 is the date, so make sure to mark your calendars!
This GOTY-winning masterpiece is unlike anything out there on the market, and if you didn’t have the luxury of attempting to escape the pits of Tartarus on PC/Nintendo Switch, then please, by all means, make sure to give it a go once it is released on any of the consoles listed above! It truly is a one of a kind, a game that has captured the imagination (and any available free time) of millions upon millions of players and is now widely regarded as one of the best games ever made.
Not too shabby for a game studio that employs around 20 (supremely passionate) people!
Let’s Talk Performance
If you happen to own a PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to enjoy Hades in all its jaw-dropping goodness at 4K 60 FPS. So pretty much the absolute perfect experience. If you’re going to game on a PlayStation 4 (or Xbox One), though, you’ll have to be content with 1080p at 60 FPS. Still, good-old 1080p is more than enough — the FPS count is what’s truly important, and with sixty frames per second, you’ll be able to enjoy the game at its (near) best!
Finally, 4K at 60 FPS will also be supported by both Xbox Series consoles which is quite a nice surprise.
All in all, if you haven’t already played this gem of a game, make sure to give Hades a shot once it’s released on console and Xbox Game Pass — you will not regret it!
