by in CS:GO | Nov, 26th 2019

Welcome back to another exciting day of CSGO news! Today we’ve got a look at the news of hints from JW that GeT_RiGhT is joining F0rest on Dignitas, some leaks in German CSGO, and ESEA and FACEIT banning character model skins at tournaments.

As always, we’ve got a lot to cover today, so let’s dive on in.

Rumors of GeT_RiGhT to Dignitas Roster?

Following the leak of Dignitas’ new CSGO lineup, it appears we have spoken too soon about GeT_RiGhT joining up with his old crew as new Dignitas roster rumors have emerged.

A recent interview with JW from Fnatic indicates the legendary NiP player may join the squad.

In the opening episode of the new season of HLTV Confirmed, JW said he heard rumors of GeT_RiGhT supposedly joining the roster as the fifth and final member of the squad. It would reunite four of the five members of the legendary NiP lineup that tore through the scene in its infancy.

While it’s exciting to see them reunited, one can’t help but feel this is the last hurrah for them. Hallzerk may only be there to absorb as much as he can before Dig recruits a new lineup upon their retirement.

It’s going to be a wild ride with some of the most legendary players giving it one final shot. We can’t wait to see how far they go on the quest to cement their legacy.

German CSGO Leaks

We have roster move rumors going on at BIG today, with CSLeaks claiming the org will drop Xantares and Smooya for Sprout’s SyrsoN and K1toc, with both Smooya and Xantares being benched instead of traded away.

The last time this happened, BIG’s manager clarified they were re-signing Xantares and Smooya has already confirmed his roster doesn’t end till next year.

We’ll have to see whether BIG releases a statement on the matter soon.

ESEA and FACEIT Ban Model Skins

ESEA and FACEIT have banned character model skins from their tournaments after concerns about their visibility during gameplay.

The skins blend in a bit too well with the map, giving players using them an unfair advantage over their opponents and leading to several rather embarrassing videos of players abusing them on Reddit.

Hopefully, Valve fixes these soon so we can see some cool looks in competitive play. The developer has yet to release a statement regarding changes to the skins.

That’s all we have for today, thanks for reading. We’ll be back soon to bring you more exciting CSGO news, so stay tuned!
