Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games With Gold July 2019. As always, there are four games that players will be able to receive for free as long as they have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. The four games that have been revealed will effectively replace the previous four games, starting next month.

Xbox Games With Gold July 2019 Lineup

The four Xbox Games With Gold July 2019 games are as follows: Inside, Big Crown: Showdown, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Meet The Robinsons. Those four games will become available to Xbox Live Gold players throughout the month of July with two at the beginning and two at the end.

According to Xbox, these four games have a value of around $62.96 in free games that players will be receiving for the month of July. As always, there are two games that are from Xbox One while two other games are from the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility lineup of games.

These four games will give players up to 3200 points in total gamerscore to be able to unlock, which is a bit short of the full 4000 points as it could be with some major games. These four games will effectively replace the current four games that were released as part of the service in June.

Previous Xbox Games With Gold Games

The four games that are from the June release that you can still get right now are NHL 19, Portal: Still Alive, Rivals of Aether, and Earth Defense Force 2017. If you want those four games, be sure to get them now before they’re gone for good as part of the free lineup next month in July.

As for the Xbox Games With Gold July 2019 games, you won’t have to wait too much longer for the four free games. The first half of those games will be available for players later this week. The first game up is Inside, an Xbox One title that is, arguably the best of the bunch for the month of July.

Breakdown of All Four Free Games

From the creators of the beloved indie darling Limbo, Inside follows a young man as you traverse a dark landscape with a fascinating story that is told through more subtle means than most games. If you are a fan of Limbo or challenging platformers in general, this is one game for you.

It is certainly one of, if not the, best games in the Xbox Games With Gold July 2019 so be sure to get Inside when it releases for all Xbox Live Gold players on July 1. It will only be around until July 31 so don’t go on vacation and forget to download the game to your system.

If you try nothing else from this month’s Games With Gold collection spend a few hours with Inside. It’s worth it.

While Inside is available, there is one free Xbox 360 game, too. That game is the critically and commercially successful Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. This is not only one of the best Castlevania games but also arguably one of the best games ever made period.

You’d be crazy to miss out on the likes of Symphony of the Night if you’ve never played it before and this is a fairly decent way to experience it for the first time or the first time in a long time while unlocking achievements at the same time. It will be available from only July 1 through July 15 so you better act fast.

On the other side of the month, the second Xbox One game released for free will be Big Crown: Showdown. This is a fantasy title that works for all ages and features four players taking each other on in either local or online multiplayer to see who will get the crown. It will be available July 16-August 15.

Last but not least is the Xbox 360 title Meet The Robinsons. It will be available from July 16-July 31 so you will need to act fast to make sure you don’t forget and miss out on this title based off of the popular animated movie.

In order to get these Xbox Games With Gold July 2019 games, you will need to have an active Xbox Live Gold membership at the time of adding them to your library. You will also need a subscription to play the games so be sure to keep it active if you’re still playing these games in the future.
