Welcome back everyone to our daily recap of CS:GO news. Today we’ve got a look at G2’s signing of Hunter and Nexa, rumors around 100 Thieves forming roster, more changes for GamerLegion, and more.

As always, we’ve got a lot to cover today, so let’s dive on in.

G2 Signs Hunter & Nexa

Last week, we reported that G2 was going to be picking up Hunter and Nexa from CR4ZY after several weeks of back and forth drama between the two teams.

That news was confirmed by G2 yesterday afternoon on Twitter as more details began to emerge about the exact nature of the contract and just how easy it was for G2 to pick-up the squad.

According to French news site 1PV, the transfer of Hunter and Nexa over to G2 cost absolutely nothing for the team, as the report states both player’s contracts were invalid, thus allowing them free access to leave the team.

CR4ZY’s CEO tweeted shortly after the announcement this morning that they hadn’t reached a deal with G2 over the players but quickly deleted it a short time later.

100 Thieves Looking into Aleksib and NBK

While G2 was “stealing” players from under CR4ZY’s nose, the real thieves were hard at work trying to lock down some of Europes biggest available talent as rumors have spread that 100 Thieves is looking to pick-up Aleksib and NBK for their new line-up.

According to rumors, the duo has been talking about playing in on a team together, with Aleksi planning on taking the IGL role while NBK slides into a more traditional rifling role.

If the rumors are true, this is an incredibly powerful base to build a team around, though the question will be whether 100 Thieves can surround them with the appropriate talent to make the squad shine or not.

GameLegion Continues Roster Shuffle

GamerLegion continued their roster shuffle circus this weekend after benching both HS and ScreaM from the squad, with RuSty set to take one of their spots as the team’s entry fragger.

The move comes in light of HS’ revelation that it’ll take him several months to recover from the injuries he sustained during an accident last week.

While it’s good to make sure all the players on your team on able to actively participate, it has come off for many fans as rather harsh to kick a player off the team who’s currently injured in the hospital.

ScreaM will stay on with the org as a streamer for the time being, while HS will be working to recover and hopefully find a new squad to play with in a few months time.

That’s all we have for today, thanks for reading. We’ll be back tomorrow with more CS:GO news, so stay tuned!
