The Format Used for Scoring
The qualifiers for both EU and NA use a point system to narrow down the massive player base competing for their spots. A similar point system will be used to narrow down the remaining 200 participants on Day 1.
There is a mixture of methods to get points based on match ranking and number of eliminations. A maximum of 3 Points can be earned from finishing placement, and another 3+ points can be earned via eliminations.
Day 1 Format
Participants will compete in five solo matches. An internal leaderboard will keep track of players using the scoring system explained below. The top 100 participants (finalists) will move on to Day 2.
Placement
- +3 Points for victory royale
- +2 Point for 2nd or 3rd
- +1 Point 4th-10th place
Eliminations
- +3 Points for 7+ eliminations with a bonus of +1 point for each additional elimination.
- +2 Points for 5-6 eliminations.
- +1 Point for 3-4 eliminations.
In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker will be determined by going through the following list.
- Total number of victory royales
- Total eliminations during event
- Average placement during all matches
- Total time spent alive
- And of course, a Coin Flip.
Day 2 Format
The 100 participants that make it to Day 2 will compete in a similar format as Day 1, except there will be six solo matches instead of five. Participants will be ranked on the event leaderboard based on the same scoring system as Day 1.
Prize Pool for Day 2 Finals
The Day 2 of the Finals will see the money being paid out to the participants. The top payout will be $75,000 and go down from there to a minimum prize of $1,500. A $20,000 bonus prize will go to the player with the most eliminations in a single Finals match.
Winners will be notified within 48 hours of completing the event. If participants fail to respond in a timely manner, their prize may be forfeit.
