Fortnite Season 10, Week 1 Challenges Guide: Where to Find All of the Fortnite Stop Signs
Epic Games has released Fortnite season 10 and it is one of the biggest seasons for the game to date. This monumental number for the season has brought with it a ton of changes including an updated map, challenges, skins, battle pass, the new Fortnite stop signs, and much more.
But before we can get into what the challenges are for this week and cover it, there’s something that you need to know about this update. The weekly challenges are changing moving forward in season 10 so, while you will have consistent challenges to complete, it won’t work the same as before.
How Fortnite Challenges Have Changed in Season 10
From now on, the weekly challenges in battle royale will be known as missions. But for the purposes of this guide and because we’re all so used to it by now, we will continue to refer to these weekly missions as the challenges as before.
What’s different about the missions besides the name change is how they will work. There will still be new ones each week for the duration of the season but they will be focusing on certain themes. Sometimes, this could mean that it’s a blast from the past and references old challenges we did in previous seasons.
Such is the case with the Road Trip missions that are available for the first week of challenges. Here is the full list of Road Trip challenges that you will be able to complete in this first week of missions.
Full List of Fortnite Season 10, Week 1 Road Trip Missions
You can find the full list of weekly challenges available in week one of battle royale season 10 below:
- Visit a drift painted Durr Burger head, a dinosaur, and a stone head statue
- Deal 200 damage to opponents while riding in a vehicle
- Destroy 10 Fortnite stop signs with the Catalyst skin
- Ride ziplines in different matches
- Search a chest in three different named locations
- Visit Lazy Lagoon and Lucky Landing in a single match
- Get 250,000 trick points with a vehicle
It’s worth noting, though, that even though this is a list of all of the Road Trip challenges this week, they aren’t all of them. When you complete some of these challenges, you will be able to unlock and do the prestige version of it. These prestige versions are harder than the normal one but will give more rewards.
Fortnite Stop Signs Challenge Tips

The particular challenge that we will be covering in this guide is the Fortnite stop signs challenge. For this particular mission, you will need to destroy 10 stop signs in total. There are a few tips for this challenge that you will need to keep in mind.
For one, you don’t have to destroy all 10 of the Fortnite stop signs in the same match so you can certainly take your time. But what you will need to do, though, is to be sure to have the Catalyst skin equipped for this mission. To get that skin, all you need to do is purchase the season 10 battle pass.
You automatically get the Catalyst skin as soon as you buy the battle pass. If you don’t have the money for the battle pass this week, don’t worry. It will stick around for the duration of the entire season so just buy the pass when you can and do the challenge then.
Otherwise, equip the skin and we recommend that you hop into the Team Rumble mode. The Team Rumble mode is great for challenges like this because of a few reasons. For one, it’s a big team mode so it has more players on your teammate than usual and fewer enemies to worry about.
In addition, you can sometimes have more time to explore for these stop signs before the circle closes completely and there are respawns available if you do happen to die. Thankfully, you don’t have to go far to complete this mission. Without further ado, let’s take a look at all of the locations you need to head to.
Fortnite Stop Signs Locations
For this challenge, you will want to destroy 10 stop signs in total. At this time, we don’t know if they have to be 10 different Fortnite stop signs or not but, considering how challenges like this usually work, we recommend doing different ones even if you join a different match.
Now, there are a few different locations that are worth checking out for finding the stop signs on the island map. For the most part, you can bet on areas that you would expect to have stop signs like little towns and the like. We’ve found four areas so far that are the best for doing this challenge.
The first is none other than Pleasant Park, which is also the best location for this challenge. There are literally around 10 stop signs in this whole area that you can find so as long as other players haven’t destroyed them, you can complete this whole challenge right there in a single match.
But there is the issue with players doing this since everyone else has the same challenges, too, so be aware of that. If Pleasant Park is already taken care of or you aren’t able to land there, there are a few other locations you can head to. Those locations are as below:
- Salty Springs: There are a few stop signs that you can find here
- Mega Mall: There are a couple of stop signs that you will find in the western section of this named location where the houses are
- Paradise Palms: There are a few more stop signs you can find within the city limits
How to Complete Fortnite Stop Signs Prestige Challenge
Once you’ve destroyed 10 of the signs, you will have completed the challenge. However, it doesn’t truly end there unless you want it to. You can collect your reward and move on but you can also do the prestige version of the challenge. It is a harder mission that also gives you a reward.
The prestige version of this challenge is an interesting twist on what you’ve already done. Whereas before you had to destroy 10 in total across all of your matches, now you have to destroy at least seven of them in the same match. There really is only one good way to do this challenge.
While you could travel between the various locations where stop signs are, there’s no guarantee that you will have enough time to make it before the circle closes you out completely. As such, you will want to head to Pleasant Park since there are 10 stop signs available there.
This way, at least you will have the chance of finding seven stop signs that haven’t been destroyed yet. But if you don’t, you can always use the slipstream and the new Brute mech to visit Salty Springs, Paradise Palms, or Mega Mall.
