Fortnite Patch 11.11 Finally Drops: Still No Patch Notes Released
Epic Games has finally released the Fortnite patch 11.11 notes for the battle royale game across all platforms – console, mobile, and PC – around the world. The update was briefly delayed yesterday by Epic, as it was initially going to drop on Tuesday, the usual update day.
Epic Releases Fortnite Patch 11.11 After Delay
Epic, unfortunately, ran into some issues with the update and had to delay it until today. Thankfully, though, players can enjoy this smaller but still rather important update today. It only does a little bit for the battle royale portion of the game, but the Fortnite patch 11.11 notes do detail a good bit of changes for Save the World players.
It all begins with the fact that we don’t have any patch notes whatsoever for this update yet again. Despite being a downloadable content update for the game, there are no notes that detail what the update comes with. It has been a running issue throughout Chapter 2, Season 1, and won’t likely be resolved anytime soon.
Thankfully, though, some helpful players in the community via Reddit, Trello, and other means have compiled what is actually in this update (via Dot Esports). It is a lot to unpack in this update even though we don’t have any official word on everything that is here.
It all starts with the major bug fixes that are in the Fortnite patch 11.11 notes. These come from the official Trello for the game and are the significant issues that Epic addressed in this update. In terms of battle royale issues fixed, there are a few cosmetic problems that were solved.
Fortnite Patch 11.11 Bug Fixes

There was a cosmetic item issue regarding the Kitbash skin where the outfit’s head would appear to be floating in the game. This problem has been fixed and shouldn’t happen anymore. It also fixed a strange problem with the Magma wrap item, where it looked different than it should have.
Also, players who have received a gifted battle pass for this season should now receive all rewards that they should have like the gift wrap. In terms of Creative mode fixes, there are some fixes for the wireframe sphere appearing around some of the pet back blings in the game mode.
In terms of Save the World fixes, there are solutions now implemented for the problem with the Nightfall Schematic. Before, players were having issues being able to up the rarity of this item, but that shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
Also, Save the World players will no longer have to deal with some unavailable missions. Some locked missions were inaccessible for some odd reason in the Hexsylvania area of the world. Those missions should be unlocked for players now with this update.
Beyond the normal bug fixes expected for this update, some notable changes are also in the game, as well. Reddit users have been discovering various changes in the game, both in the battle royale mode and for the Save the World PvE mode.
Fortnite Patch 11.11 Brings Some Important Changes
For battle royale, the user interface for matches has been updated some when it comes to the match results screen. The new match results screen has some more details for it, including stats for that game, medals that you received during the duration of it, and more.
Players can see helpful stats like how many eliminations you got, how far you traveled on the map, how many materials you used, and so on. It could be a great way to see what you are best at across multiple matches and what you aren’t exactly the best at.
It will be an excellent way for players to find out what they need to work on and so forth. The update also dealt with the grenade spamming issue that was plaguing battle royale recently. To fix this, the number of grenades a player can now hold is reduced.
Previously, players were able to pick up a total of 10 grenades in a full stack on one slot in your inventory. That has since been reduced to only six grenades per slot of the inventory. It should help with the grenades metagame problem that players have been dealing with lately.
To make the game a little more user-friendly, there is now a search menu for players to find certain skins that they have in their locker. It has been a long time coming for this feature. There are plenty of players who have been requesting it for some time now.
With quite literally hundreds of skins in the battle royale game at this time and only growing with each new season, it can be tough to keep up with all the skins that you have. It is especially a significant issue if you’ve been playing since launch and are trying to collect as many skins as you can.
There are plenty of players who must spend minutes just looking for a specific skin to use in matches, so they look cool, keep things fresh, or only to match with their pals. It shouldn’t be a problem from now on as you will be able to search for specific skins with ease in the menu.
Save the World, on the other hand, has a good bit of additions to its gameplay as well besides the bug fixes. There is a new Monster Smash perk that players can use in the game. What it does is increase the life leech effect with melee attacks so that you can restore health more.
It also boosts the Goin’ Constructor by giving up to 15% of health, which is all based on the current percentage of your missing HP. For those who are looking to collect more skins, the Raven skin is now back in the event store and ready for purchase.
Motorboat Returns to Competitive Modes
There is another significant change that happened around the same time as the release of Fortnite patch 11.11. On the competitive side of things, the motorboat vehicle has returned to all competitive modes like Arena and the Tournament playlists in the game.
The vehicle was disabled randomly in the competitive modes on November 6th, where Epic didn’t give a specific reason. The issue is still unknown at this time, and it doesn’t seem to be related to breaking the game or anything like that as it was with new vehicles in previous seasons.
The motorboat was added at the launch of battle royale Chapter 2, Season 1, as the only real driveable vehicle in the game thus far. It can be used with up to four players in the boat where the passengers can use their weapons to shoot while the driver has access to rockets.
It is an integral part of the metagame since the island is filled to the brim with rivers, lakes, and oceans. Without it, movement around the map was limited a good bit. Thankfully, players who play competitively will be able to start using the motorboat again.
