Fortnite Bandage Bazooka and Patch Notes Return With Update 11.20

It has been some time since we have seen two major parts of Fortnite battle royale. The Fortnite bandage bazooka, as well as the official patch notes from Epic Games, have been missing for a while. For the patch notes, they have been gone pretty much this entire season.

Fortnite Bandage Bazooka and Patch Notes Return With Update 11.20

Just as Epic Games announced this current season will last longer than we had initially expected, we know that the bandage bazooka and patch notes are returning today.

The Fortnite bandage bazooka is back in battle royale for all modes and all platforms around the world. There were some issues with the weapon item that caused its removal from the game recently.

It frustrated many because the item is a significant part of the current metagame. Players can play a healer of sorts for their team if they want. Thankfully, the patch notes note the fixed issues with the bandage bazooka.

There were some syncing issues for the item that were causing it not to work as intended. Since the syncing issues fixed with this update, players can start using the Fortnite bandage bazooka again.

The item was initially removed from the game on November 9, with the so-called “syncing issues” being the reason behind the removal. While other item removals have more details, this one left players in the dark.

Using the bandage bazooka item would likely cause problems for other players, perhaps, in the game or make lag happen that players wouldn’t be able to notice immediately. Regardless of the reason, it was a mysterious disappearance now fixed.

What the Patch Notes Tell Us

For this season, we had to guess and pinpoint what was new with each update. Perhaps because of the extension of Season 1, patch notes are now returning.

This week’s patch notes aren’t super long and only go over the changes for battle royale. It tells us that there weren’t any significant changes for the Creative and Save the World modes. One of the major parts is that daily challenges are also making their return.

Players can complete daily challenges again for some sweet experience to get them through the season one battle pass. Players can find up to three challenges at a time in their list. They can replace one of their challenges per day for another one.

There are new filter options for the locker, as well. Players can filter through the locker and all their many cosmetic items. Use the search bar in the locker to search for the specific season that you want.

Players can use terms like “Season 5” and “Season X” to find the skins from that season. However, Epic Games didn’t mention what happens in the case of the two-season ones that we have currently in battle royale, but we guess that both season’s skins would show up.

Regardless, this is great for players who want to see what skins they got each season or if they are feeling a little bit nostalgic. Another feature is that players can adjust the user interface contrast in the graphics section of the video settings.

The mobile version of battle royale on iOS and Android have access to a tutorial playlist that helps players keep up with their opponents online and learn more about how to play the game.

As for the PC version of the game, it now supports Microsoft DirectX 12. It is excellent for expanding the game into a more robust direction. Layers can utilize this new feature by selecting it in the advanced graphics section of the video settings for the game.

The headshot multiplier for the tactical shotgun adjusted, so it is more in line with the headshot multiplier for the pump shotgun. Players should see some more parity between the two shotgun weapons.

The effective health, or sum of your health plus shields, increases when using the slurp tankers. While that concludes the new features and significant changes for this smaller update, there are other bug fixes from the update 11.20.

Fortnite Patch Notes Update 11.20 Bug Fixes

The bug fix for the Fortnite bandage bazooka item allows it to return to battle royale finally, but that is only the start of the bug fixes in this update. Epic Games addressed bug reports from players regarding hitching issues on mobile platforms.

Players should no longer deal with hitching on either Android or iOS, so playing on those platforms should be simple enough. There is also a fix for the equipped item slot issue — a problem where the currently equipped item slot would be the selection slot when players opened their inventory.

There was also an issue where players were reporting that the buildings on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were showing low details. This would specifically happen as the player landed on the map to find that the area would look not that great visually.

Now addressed, textures should start popping in more quickly as they were before on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. As for the Devastator skin, the hair portion should show up in the game as the intended color by the developer.

Speaking of outfits in the game, the pistol that the John Wick outfit has on him will no longer appear much larger than it was supposed to be. Lastly, the Magma skin wrap that you can use on vehicles on weapons should now work correctly for the most part.

That skin not appearing correctly on various items in the game is fixed. There is one issue with the skin wrap still left that unfixed in this update. While it should appear correctly on other items, it still looks wrong on both the bandage bazooka and pistol.

Though the bandage bazooka is back, it seems that all of the related issues remain unfixed at this time. Thankfully, Epic Games plans to fix this issue and have the Magma skin wrap look right on the bandage bazooka and the pistol soon.

With the return of the official patch notes for Fortnite battle royale, you may want to check them out. Even though they aren’t super long this time, the patch notes are hopefully a sign that Epic Games will start releasing them from now on with each update again.
