Fifflaren, NiP Controversy Escalates with New Court Documents Released

by in CS:GO | Aug, 27th 2019

The drama and accusations flying around NiP continued this past weekend as Fifflaren released several new court documents proving his case against his former team.

According to the documents, Hicham had indeed been involved with the org as far back as at least 2014, well before Heaton had claimed he had gotten involved with the team.

The documents also purport that Fischier and Heaton, referred to in the documents by his first name Emil, were both responsible for handling the orgs finances and accounting, though when Fischier tried to take responsibility for it he became sick and was forced to take a step back from managing it all.

Hicham, Heaton, and Robert Himmler took over the company’s finances, leading to the eventual collapse of the org after the men failed to sign off and pay for the company’s annual report.

This failure bankrupted the company and led to the three “resurrecting” the brand under their control, giving themselves majority ownership and nullifying Fischier’s control and the 50% ownership promised to the players.

Heaton’s Response

While Fifflaren tore into Heaton and co for the alleged problems they committed, Heaton released a response video trying to clear his name and explain what he says actually happened.

In the video, he brings up the old claim of Fischier running off to Thailand with all the orgs money and that he was the only one with access to the back accounts.

Heaton also claimed he was later able to gain a bank card for the account, though by the time he’d gotten access he found a surplus of charges in Thailand from Fischier which left the company without any of the money earmarked for the players.

This also allegedly what left the org unable to pay either its taxes or the players and forced Heaton and Himmler to beg for Hicham to invest in the org.

Heaton also claims he never lied in court and that Fischier never had a hand in the team’s bookkeeping, a point countered by Fifflarens tweets responding to the video in which a witness claimed both men took part in it.

Lastly, he claims he did withdraw some funds from the account in question, though solely to keep up with bookkeeping and apparently to cover other expenses the org had while never taking even a dime for himself.

Considering he allegedly paid his girlfriend $2,063 USD a month at this time, the claims of not profiting from the account at this time seems rather questionable.

Even after these fresh allegations and responses from both sides, we still are no closer to finding out what exactly happened and who was really at fault for everything that went down with NiP at the time.

Hopefully, in the coming weeks other former members of the team come forward to give their sides of the story and shed more light on what really happened.

Until then, we’ll continue to keep you updated as the story develops and Fifflaren continues to share more details.
