FIFA 19 Points System
New to competitive FIFA this year is the point system. Players will now be ranked (per PlayStation and Xbox) based on the number of points they’ve earned. At the end of the year, the top 60 players of each leaderboard are invited to the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs. After the 120 players compete at the playoffs, the top 16 players on the leaderboards qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup, where the FIFA 19 World Champion is crowned.
Players must be FUT Champions Verified to qualify for the FIFA 19 Global Series Playoffs. To become verified, Players must register on FUTChampions.com by Oct. 31, 2018, and earn at least 27 wins in the FUT Champions Weekend League. Registration opens on October 5.
Mosaad ‘Msdossary’ Aldossary was crowned the EA Sports FIFA World Champion last season. The Saudi Arabia native earned a 4-0 win on aggregate over Stefano ‘StefanoPinna’ Pinna in London. Aldossary claimed a $250,000 prize and a trip to The Best FIFA Football Awards.
