Fedmyster Returns to Twitch in Wake of OTV Sexual Assault Allegations
Fedmyster returns to Twitch after a year away, according to a cryptic Twitter post. The “year off” came as a result of Fedmyster being dropped by OfflineTV back in June 2020. Yvonne “Yvonnie” Ng shared allegations of sexual misconduct by Fedmyster, and as a result, OTV dropped him from its roster. She was allegedly not the only victim in that particular situation either. After this, Fedmyster took some time away from Twitch but now returns. It’s going down this afternoon on Twitch.
Hints, Allegations, Things Left Unsaid
Federico Michael “Fedmyster” Gaytan stayed mostly off the radar after the OfflineTV situation went down. Not streaming, staying out of sight, that is until late 2020 rolled around. A leak was made of a document he wrote, concerning his relationship with Pokimane. In this, he accused Pokimane of not being honest about their relationship, but that’s a completely separate matter.
In February 2021, a false alarm was triggered as a notification on Twitch, but nothing came of it. Fast forward a few months, and Fedmyster officially returns to Twitch. A screenshot was taken of Fedmyster’s private Discord as well, where someone asked if the Tweet was real, or if it was just another fake, but Fedmyster merely said, “It’s happening.”
What do people think of the return of Fedmyster though? If you look at his Tweet, it’s almost entirely positive, his fans glad he’s back to create more content. In this tweet, he said:
A lot has changed in a year. See you tomorrow. 1 PM. ????

“A lot has changed in a year. See you tomorrow. 1 PM.”
Of course, his Twitter and Discord following are excited to see him back. Others however haven’t forgiven what he allegedly did, and many look negatively upon him after the allegations came out. Whether or not he did anything to make good or redeem himself after the events of last year, we will have to see if that’s addressed by anyone involved. Perhaps he’ll actually have changed and become a better person and has sought help. Only time will tell.
Has he changed from dropping his original “My Truth” statement about him and Pokimane, and have things been solved between him and the rest of OfflineTV? We’re not imaging he ever returns there, but it could be a big move for the streamer in general. He will no doubt see a huge turnout, as these returns tend to.
