Daequan and Hamlinz Posters Spotted in LA: “Have You Seen These Streamers?”

by in Fortnite | Aug, 23rd 2021

Posters of Daequan “Daequan” Loco and Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin have been showing up around LA over the past day. This brings us to a very important question – are Daequan and Hamlinz finally coming back to streaming or is this just a wistful shoutout from their fans? Have you seen these streamers?” the poster inquires about Daequan and Hamlinz. Once among the biggest streamers in the world, the two disappeared from the internet back in 2020, making sporadic appearances here and there. With audiences around the globe clamoring for a return, this could be the start of something massive. The collective internet has missed these two dearly after all.

Several Breaks, A Potential Major Return:

Daequan and Hamlinz are beloved members of TSM who are used to taking time away from the internet. The reasons range from family to health issues, but their most recent absence has fans ravenously waiting for a return. We’ve seen a few occasional updates from the duo, such as a reveal on Discord that Daequan and Hamlinz are living together. This May 23rd, we also saw a post simply stating “Burfday” from Hamlinz. There were no replies to questions about whether or not he was coming back though. Last October, we saw another tweet, where Hamlinz said he was feeling like himself again.

Daequan posted something similar, featuring him and his cat in November 2020, saying, “Feeling better than I have in years. Always thankful.” Other than that, all we’ve seen from the two were infrequent Warzone videos and livestreams. It’s been a quiet year or two from both Daequan and Hamlinz, but the emergence of these posters in LA has certainly raised some eyebrows. What could they possibly mean? This sort of thing rarely comes out of thin air. It sounds to us like this could be the beginning of a major return for Daequan and Hamlinz to the streaming scene. If they do show up again, it’s likely to shatter records. They may have been quiet on social media, but they’re far from forgotten.
