Crimsix Trashes Dashy for His Black Ops Cold War Performance

by in Call of Duty | Nov, 23rd 2021

Crimsix is one of the greatest Call of Duty pro players to ever live, but he is also one of the most outspoken at the same time. He is not afraid to speak his mind about other players and situations, which has led to drama in the past, with the most recent being the Crimsix Dashy situation.

Crimsix Dashy Drama Begins

During a recent stream, the three-time world champion at Call of Duty and the pro player with the most wins in the franchise was dealing with his upcoming tournament. The Crimsix Tournament is coming this week, hosted by the champ himself and featuring some of the best players around.

How the tournament works is that the 16 best Call of Duty League pro players out there right now are able to host their own teams as captains and compete in the Search & Destroy Vanguard event. As part of this, he decided on the stream who the captains for the event would be.

To determine this, he ranked the top 16 players in the Call of Duty League right now from the Black Ops Cold War season alongside ZooMaa himself, the host of The Flank podcast. Together, they came up with the top 25 players that are in the Call of Duty League right now.

However, only the top 16 would be able to enter the event as captains for the Crimsix Tournament, so the others would have to sit it out. Unfortunately, in the midst of determining the top 25 players, some Crimsix Dashy drama began because of harsh words from C6 in the stream.

Dashy Is Not Top 16 According to C6

The Crimsix Dashy started with Crimsix trashing Dashy during the ranking of the best Call of Duty League players. While the list was going on, ZooMaa started to wonder where exactly Crimsix would put Dashy since you could definitely make an argument for him being in the top 16 in the league.

However, it seems that Crimsix disagrees with that sentiment, noting that he would not put him in the top 16 at all. The reason behind this is the fact that C6 was brutal in noting that Dashy “lost his team more maps than he won” for his team during the 2021 season.

He noted that this is the “hard truth” about the performance of Dashy and that it is something that fans could even ask the recently retired FormaL about to confirm. He remembered one particular match between OpTic Chicago and Dallas Empire that happened on the Garrison Hardpoint map.

During the fifth point of the Hardpoint map, he remembered that he was up top on the bridge and was killed three times in a row. Despite this, his team was able to get 25 seconds on the clock and it was in part due to the fact that Dashy did not move once, according to C6, from his “barrel alley” location.

Dashy Responded to the Crimsix Trash Talking

The Crimsix Dashy drama continued with a response from Dashy that saw him simply dismiss the entire thing by noting that C6 does not mess with him at all in reality. Though the Crimsix Dashy drama ended there, it did not stop the community from taking note of the lack of love between the two pro players who both share a history with OpTic Gaming.

Both C6 and Dashy have become synonymous with the OpTic Gaming dynasty, having been part of it at one point at the same time in 2019 during the Black Ops 4 season. C6 even noted this, saying that the recent Cold War season was exactly the same as Black Ops 4, but with Crimsix and FormaL switching places.

According to the former champ, Crimsix believes that Dashy is a player that just does his own thing and goes for kills, not really thinking about the bigger picture on the map. This is a flaw that others have criticized Dashy for in the past, so Crimsix is not the only one.

He noted that he does not hate Dashy and, instead, admires the guy and the immense talent that he has. In fact, he ended up putting him at 24th on the top 25 Call of Duty pro players in Black Ops Cold War, revealing that he would have been in the top five if he played differently than he does.

Crimsix Believes That K/D Does Not Matter

He went on to note that the K/D is not that important for a team and it is more about how someone plays. Another person in the chat noted that the overall team K/D for OpTic Chicago was about second in the entire league, even though the team did not place second in the overall season.

This was something that C6 used to prove that if your K/D is high, your placement should match that, and if it does not, then the team is likely playing selfishly and for the wrong reasons, according to him. No matter what, it is worth noting that this upcoming season will be a very important one for Dashy and C6 alike.

For Dashy, he is joining the OpTic Texas team, merging with iLLeY and Shotzzy, along with his returning teammate Scump. Together, they have some of the best talents in the business and are capable of being a top two team on talent alone, but it comes down to how they work together.

On the other hand, you have Crimsix coming to the New York Subliners after being dropped by Dallas Empire. He is rejoining former teammate and fellow three-time champ Clayster for a reunion that looks to be a possibly championship-worthy team again. The Call of Duty League is only a few months away, giving us a chance to see how these teams will shake out in the end.
