by in Call of Duty | Nov, 21st 2019

Welcome back to another edition of our Call of Duty news update. Our first rendition was so popular we’ve decided to make this into a running series from now on, so be sure to check back for more CoD pro news daily.

Today we’re going to look at Crimsix calling out the Optic “cult” and Censor embracing the jet ski meme.

So, without further ado, let’s dive on into it.

Crimsix Calls out OpTic “Cult”

Our top story today focuses on more drama from former-OpTic star Crimsix and his battle with former OpTic fans.

The current Dallas Empire pro lashed on Twitter out Tuesday after a fan claimed it was OpTic that gave him a personality and gave him confidence in himself.

While he seems upset with OpTics fans’ loyalty to the brand above all else, fellow pro Aches was quick to point out that Crimsix benefited from the blind support for years, claiming, “You didn’t mind this for 5 years when it worked in your favor. Don’t bitch about it now. This has been a thing the whole time.”

Crim quickly backpedaled on his meaning in a follow-up tweet in which he claimed that he was okay with fans supporting whichever team they wanted. He wished they wouldn’t attack players on other squads, though notes this is different from the player rivalries that have been especially prevalent in the scene.

Censor Embraces the Jet Ski

While things were getting heated over in Crimsix’s Twitter, New York Subliners member Censor was having a grand old time embracing the jet ski meme that made him (in)famous, noting that if he got 20,000 likes on a tweet he posted he’d go out into the freezing New York weather to do so.

The joke was initially a snide suggestion from Crimsix, but it’s nice to see Censor fully accept it after all these years and run with it, though he did note that he set the bar extremely high to make it harder to reach for fans.

That’s all the news we have for today, everyone, thanks for sticking with us. We’ll be back next time with more exciting CoD news, so stay tuned.
