CoD Mobile Gets Night Mode Back, But There’s a Catch
Night Mode is back in CoD Mobile, as “Night Mode Enhanced”, but there’s a little bit of a catch to make you use the goggles a bit wiser. The batteries for the Night Vision Goggles will run out if you use them for too long! That may not sound like much, but an overreliance on them will be punished if you aren’t aware of it.
Moderation, In All Things
This is essentially the exact same “Night Mode” from Season 12 of CoD Mobile, but now you can’t just keep the Night Vision Goggles on all the time. Honestly, this is how the mode should have been in the first place. As a dark, foreboding mode, not having the goggles on at all times suddenly becomes terrifying. You never know when the other players are ready to line up a perfect shot, with their goggles on. People that don’t heed this are going to have a real hard time winning.
Conserving your battery life while not in battle is also a fantastic strategy. Your opponent might not realize you still have your batteries fresh. Suddenly, your lights come on, and you land the perfect set of headshots. It’s not all bad though. If the battery runs out, it will recharge fairly quickly. You aren’t without it forever, but it might feel that way.
Thankfully, you also respawn with a full battery on the Night-Vision Goggles in CoD Mobile’s Night Mode Enhanced. This mode will be available for a week, and several maps will have the option to play in Night Mode. It’s a really exciting mode, and one of the ones I loved playing the most when it first kicked off in CoD Mobile. I’m very excited to try this version of it again, for the limited time it will be around. Don’t miss out on it!
