Carzzy and MAD Lions Probably Parting Ways
We’re just a day or so removed from MAD Lions’ loss to DWG KIA, and yet there’s already more drama than our hearts can handle! In the end, though, the only thing that really warrants our attention, is the fact that Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság is probably going to part ways with this beloved (and surprisingly successful) organization. Rumors of it happening have been circulating the web for quite awhile now, and we knew it was only a matter of time before this talented marksman made his decision. Nothing has been made official just yet, but multiple players on MAD have said the exact same thing: there’s a very faint chance that this line-up remains intact. Why such a thing would happen after MAD’s dominant run in the LEC is anyone’s guess, but there’s obviously something going on behind the scenes.
Moreover, a very recent tweet by MAD top laner İrfan Berk “Armut” Tükek inadvertently confirms that Carzzy will compete under someone else’s banner next year.
A Fresh Start
If Carzzy’s relationship with MAD went sour — for whatever reason — then it’s probably good for both parties to part ways and start 2022 “anew.” Carzzy can surely pick and choose his next team and probably has no shortage of options after winning the LEC two times in a row. He might not be the most consistent marksman around but whenever he brings his “A game” he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
There are multiple organizations in the LEC that are looking for a top-tier marksman, including G2 Esports and Team Vitality. The latter is reportedly looking to invest quite a lot so as to stand a better chance of hoisting the LEC trophy and finally leaving a mark — after so many years of either moderate success or absolute mediocrity.
What’ll happen still remains to be seen, but one thing’s for certain: it won’t lack in drama or spectacle!
