Call of Duty Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 Playlist, Others Trashed for Misleading Players
One of the positives about Sledgehammer Games is that the development studio is great about ensuring that Call of Duty Vanguard has plenty of playlists to choose from and that they rotate frequently. However, some like the Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist and others are in an annoying place.
Community Disappointed by Ship Haus 24/7 Removal
A portion of the Vanguard community is not happy with the current state of some of the playlists, especially the ones like the Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist and others. This is because the players feel that this particular playlist is actually misleading the community with its description.
Such is the case with a recent Reddit post that was shared on the Vanguard subreddit page by the user Xutsi. In the thread, the user posted about how the Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist was removed from the game. While this was something that was disappointing on its own, the community had more to say about it.
The user started out the Reddit thread by sharing how they received an update in the game that has already removed the new Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist from the title. If you were a fan of this playlist, it is already gone and there is no telling when it will be returning to Vanguard.
However, this is not the only part of the update that removed various parts of the game. The recent patch also removed the double normal account level experience, double operator experience, and double battle pass XP from the short double XP event that was happening.
Ship Haus 24/7 Did Not Even Last for 7 Days
The whole point of the Reddit post was for the user to share the news that they saw that the recently released playlist had been removed from the game already, along with the double XP weekend to celebrate the arrival of the Shipment map in Vanguard.
It was also meant to be a discussion place for those who are missing the playlist and to talk about the swift removal of it from the game entirely. This was something that the community quickly chimed in with on the viral Reddit thread with more than 350 comments and counting at this time, noting their thoughts on the matter.
The top comment, though, is the key point of all of this as the Reddit user on the thread revealed that they have an issue with the fact that the Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist is not living up to its name at all. Since it is named “24/7,” that would seemingly indicate that it is going to be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as the phrase means.
However, you could look at it as a misleading title in the fact that the Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist is named that, yet, it did not even stick around for an entire week in the game. This is something that the top commenter stated, referencing not just Ship Haus Shipment before it.
Both Shipment and Ship Haus Left Too Quickly
They shared the information that Shipment 24/7, which is the playlist that was dedicated to giving players the chance to check out only the newly remastered Shipment map in Vanguard nonstop, was removed from the game after only being around for a day.
And then there is Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist now that has only stuck around for about three days in total. In reality, the user noted, this makes it more like Shipment 24/1 and Ship Haus 24/3, instead of the 24/7 playlists that both of them claimed to be.
They ended their comment, wondering if this means that at this rate, we will soon have a limited-time playlist in Vanguard that will actually stick around for a full week, instead of leaving after just a couple of days. Another user chimed in with their own humorous and surprisingly on-point comment about the matter.
They noted that 24/7 equals around 3.42 days, which is right around how long the Ship Haus playlist was in the game, so they joked that perhaps Sledgehammer Games was basing it off of that. Jokes aside, though, it does seem weird how these playlists are only in the game for such a short period.
In past Call of Duty games like Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, there would generally be a playlist update once a week that would rotate out some of the older limited time playlists and bring in some new ones for players to enjoy for the next seven days.
Players Have Loved Ship Haus 24/7
However, in Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games has been quite active, removing and replacing playlists nonstop back-to-back since pretty much the game launched a couple of weeks ago. The problem with this, while keeping everything fresh, means that players do not have enough time to enjoy their favorite modes.
This is especially problematic for the new Vanguard Ship Haus 24/7 playlist since this one blends together two of the smallest maps in the game together: Shipment and Das Haus. With these two maps together, players who appreciate them can finally enjoy nonstop, chaotic close combat action.
One of the best parts about this playlist is the fact that it is also a fantastic place to grind for levels, especially when it comes to weapons. Since you have a lot of nonstop fighting happening, if you are able to do well on these tiny maps, you can dominate and grind weapon experience in the best way possible.
So, that is why some players, even those like myself who do not like these maps, may prefer this playlist for grinding out new weapons to unlock attachments and camo skins to then use them in the maps and game modes that they actually prefer to play in Vanguard. Here’s hoping that Sledgehammer Games takes note of this viral post and the disappointment over the swift removal of Ship Haus 24/7 and brings it back for those who like it.
