Call of Duty Mobile Community Update Reveals Zombies Release Date
Activision has released the latest Call of Duty Mobile community update for the game. This is just the most recent in the string of posts that the company posts for the mobile game on Reddit. It is meant to keep fans up to date with what is coming for the game in the near future. Exciting fans across the globe, the highlight for many in this update is the reveal of the release date for Call of Duty Mobile Zombies.
Latest Community Update Drops Call of Duty Mobile Zombies Release Date
With the release of the latest community update, we now know that there are a lot of changes, bug fixes, and new additions coming to the game soon. The post on Reddit goes through a lot of details about what is to come that we will get to in a moment.
However, it is right at the very bottom of the post that we see the most surprising announcement in the blog post. Those eagle-eyed readers who read all the way to the bottom will find that the Call of Duty Mobile Zombies release date was revealed in the post.
The blog post noted that the developer has not forgotten about the long-awaited Zombies mode that fans have been eagerly waiting for. The official Call of Duty Mobile Zombies release date is set for this Friday, November 22, 2019.
The release date announcement was surprising enough on its own but it is amazing to find out that it is actually coming out rather soon. After all, the game launched in October for everyone on Android and iOS with only the traditional multiplayer and battle royale modes.
Those modes are impressively robust and have been quite fulfilling for players but there has been a constant tease of the Zombies mode on the horizon. This is because the main menu for the game has the battle royale and multiplayer options plus an unnamed, grayed out third one.
If you look closely enough on that third option, you will see that it is clearly showing a person shooting at what looks to be a zombie. It was already confirmed that a zombie mode would be coming to the game but it didn’t arrive at launch. Thankfully, players only have a few more days to wait for the Call of Duty Mobile Zombies release date.
Community Update: Events and Lucky Draw

The community update isn’t all about the Zombies mode, though. Activision teased that the current battle pass is set to end soon and that a new one is on the way with details in the near future. In the meantime, there is a new Molotov Cocktail event that is happening right now.
The limited time event gives players the chance to earn the M16 Stained Glass weapon through a variety of weapon-based challenges. Alongside that event, there is another available in the form of the snipers-only event. That one will conclude on November 21 while the Molotov Cocktail event will conclude on November 24.
Activision also shared the details on the schedule of events for the rest of November. There is another event that is available in the Weapon Mastery multiplayer event. It will be running until November 24 followed by the start of the season two battle pass on November 25 next week.
Activision revealed some more details on the next iteration of the Halloween Lucky Draw. It is known as the Cosmos Chance and the developer is making it clear how everything works. Players are able to find out the rarity of everything when they select. the more info button.
Experience cards and crates are being replaced with more unique items that players can receive like the Razorback Cosmos cosmetic item.
Community Update: Controller Support and Feedback
There is a bit of an update on the controller support feature that will be dropping for the game in a future patch. Recently, it was mentioned that the support feature is coming out soon but this community update didn’t reveal when. However, we do know that we will find out when on the Activision blog.
That blog post will reveal what types of controllers will be available in the game, how the settings work for it, and how players can set it all up. On the topic of feedback, Activision had a lot to share. It all begins with the Garena beta test going on right now in Southeast Asia.
Players are recommended to not spoil the beta test’s new maps, modes, or other content. In addition, there is a disclaimer that the content in the beta may not actually make it all to the final build. As for limited time modes, the community had a lot to say about the recent ones.
Recently, players had the chance to try out Gun Game, Hardpoint, and Free for All. Those modes are staples for the series and players want them to become permanent additions to the multiplayer suite. Activision is listening but has some feedback for the community about how to go about making it known that they want these modes.
It is recommended that players take advantage of modes that they really like and play them a lot during its availability. This includes getting your friends and clan members to get involved in it as well. If everyone is playing the mode, the developer will notice this.
Posting threads and giving direct feedback on social media is welcome and appreciated but actually playing the modes a lot seems to be the most important asset.
Community Update: Bug Reports
Last but not least, the community update addressed several bug reports and issues that are in the game. The post notes that there are a lot of the same issues being talked about on Reddit and other platforms. As a reminder, the post shared what to do about dealing with purchasing issues.
If players are dealing with not receiving an item that they bought from the in-game store like COD points or a specific item, there are a few things that the player can do. First and foremost, they should confirm that the transaction was successful.
Once you know that it was, what you need to do is wait a few hours and then restart the game. If this doesn’t result in seeing your item as you should, you will need to contact player support. You can do this from the game itself or through the Activision support website.
You need to make sure that you have your player ID included in the report, proof of purchase of the item like a screenshot of the App Store or Google Play receipt, and provide these to the agent assisting you.
The other problem that keeps coming up is with friends lists. For this, players are dealing with not seeing their friends show up when they add them or just having trouble with adding them in the first place. In this case, players should make sure that their friends are not using the Garena version.
Those versions of the game are not compatible with one another so you will not be able to add friends from it. Beyond that, though, there are some issues that are known with accounts that use Facebook to login. If this is the case for you, there are some steps that you can take to help with it.
What you need to do is go to your Facebook, log in, and access the Apps and Websites section of the social media site. From there, find the active apps section and find this game. What you need to do is find the friends list option and make sure that it is enabled.
Then you need to head to the visibility section of the app and change the filter to friends before saving your settings. This should, hopefully, fix the problem with friends showing up or being added but if it doesn’t, be sure to contact the official Activision support directly for assistance.
