Call of Duty Mobile is one of the biggest mobile games out there right now on iOS and Android devices, and it is set to only get bigger with the next season of content. Season 4 is coming soon, and we may already know some details, like the new Call of Duty Mobile Time Traveler class and more. 

As always, Activision is hosting a new public beta test for players to check out on Android to pave the way for Season 4 that is coming later this month. These public beta tests are nice since they give the community a chance to check out some of the upcoming content that hasn’t been announced.

This is a great way to find out what the new maps, game modes, and other content will be in the next season or two. With a new beta test going on right now, it is no surprise that the community has once again revealed (via Dot Esports) what is coming mobile game soon.

The new features that could come soon include a map, the brand new Call of Duty Mobile Time Traveler battle royale class, and a new perk in multiplayer. Overall, this content follows the same general trend as past seasons, but they are welcome nonetheless. 

Before we dive too deep into the new content coming in Season 4, it is worth mentioning that the features in the public test builds are not guaranteed to be released in the next season. We had situations in the past where a feature was released later in a future season, instead of the very next one, like in the case of weapon skins, so keep that in mind.

With all of that out of the way, one of the most important additions in the new season is a brand new battle royale class. If you are a fan of BR in the game, you might be happy to know that a new class is on the way in the future in the form of the Call of Duty Mobile Time Traveler class. 

The epic-sounding class has few details available for it at this time due to the secrecy surrounding it in the current public beta. Normally, testers can check out the content and play it themselves, but that isn’t the case for this upcoming battle royale class. 

The Call of Duty Mobile Time Traveler is something that players can only see the name of at this time; they aren’t able to equip the class and try it out in battle royale matches. The details on it are scarce at this time, but we can glean some information from it regardless.

We know that one of the abilities, based on the information provided in the beta, is known as Glitch. This ability has a very familiar name to it for fans of Treyarch’s Black Ops 3. In that game, players could select a specialist character to play as with all of them having different abilities. 

One of the characters in that game had the Glitch ability, which allowed the player to go back in time by teleporting to a spot where they were in the match earlier. It was a great way to teleport out of a bad situation where you knew you would be taken out by an enemy or the like. 

Given that the class itself is known as the Call of Duty Mobile Time Traveler class, it certainly sounds like the Black Ops 3 Glitch ability will be coming to the game soon in one form or another. On a personal note, that was my favorite ability in that previous Black Ops game, so this is exciting news for me. 

We should keep in mind, though, that this information is minimal at this time, so there is a chance that the new class might not even come out in season 4 or at least at the launch of it. 

Another major addition that could be coming in Season 4 is a new perk, and it is one of the best ones in the series, at least in my opinion. The popular Gung-Ho perk possibly comes to Call of Duty Mobile Season 4, based on players noticing it in the beta. 

It is locked at this time and unusable, so there is a chance that this, too, might not be immediately coming out in the next season. Gung-Ho is a great perk that allows the player to shoot hip-fire with your weapon, throw grenades, and reload ammo all while you are sprinting. 

For players always on the move, it is a must-have perk for your multiplayer loadout, so we look forward to its upcoming release at some point. More features were revealed for the mobile game in another public test, including the Season 4 new map. 

Dome from Modern Warfare 3 was available, notable for being one of the most popular smaller locations from that previous title. Dome takes place in a desert around the titular dome structure, emphasizing close combat scenarios, for the most part. 

Beyond that, it looks like there is a new operator skill coming to the mobile game soon in the form of the beloved K-9 unit from the Modern Warfare series and a new Hawk X3 scorestreak that players will be able to equip. Season 4 of Call of Duty Mobile should be releasing later this month, so stay tuned for more info on it soon.
