Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow: Icebreaker, Holiday Raid, More

by in Call of Duty Mobile | Dec, 14th 2021

It is time for a new Call of Duty Mobile season to arrive. The latest season is Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow. This winter and the holiday-themed season comes with tons of content and additions for players to check out in this busy but fun time of year.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow Is Almost Here

When writing this, Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow is not out just yet but will be arriving later this week. That said, we know all of the content and changes coming alongside this new season of the mobile online multiplayer and battle royale game.

For starters, we know that a new game mode is dropping for the season alongside three winter-themed multiplayer maps, one of which is brand new to the series. In addition to that, the Zombies fans are getting some love with new content for the popular Undead Siege mode.

There is, of course, the new battle pass that comes along with Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow and much more. All of this and more will be launching in Call of Duty Mobile later this week when it drops on December 16, 2021, at around 4 p.m. PT.

The year will close out with a themed season set around a battle in the Arctic between the Templar and Dark Covenant as the two factions wish to end their alliance. This will conclude the two-year story arc for Call of Duty Mobile.

The new season will not only cap off the year as the final season of 2021 and the first season of 2022 at the same time, but it will also end the storyline that has been brewing since pretty much the launch of the game. As such, we fully expect that we could get another reboot next year with the following season possibly returning to the Season 1 nomenclature. Here’s everything that you need to know about what’s in the new Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow update.

What the New Battle Pass Contains

It all begins with the new battle pass for Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow that contains the standard free and paid versions for players to progress through. The brand new battle pass contains tons of items for free players who do not wish to spend money and those who do not mind paying for the premium version.

On the free side of the new season’s battle pass, players will find several new items, including a single new ability item and one new weapon for the season. First up is the new operator skill that you can unlock at tier 14 and it is known as the Munitions Box.

It is honestly surprising that it has taken this long for the Munitions Box, a staple in the series in most other games, to be released, but here it is finally. The Munitions Box allows the player to drop a supply box to replenish the ammo for players and tactical equipment. It will also explode when destroyed, so there is room for some possible damage there, too.

Then a few tiers later, at tier 21, everyone will be able to unlock the single new weapon this season at launch that is known as the PKM. What is interesting about the PKM is that it is a light machine gun, but it fills a unique spot in the category by being much slower than its counterparts while also being quite powerful at the same time.

The other free items that players will be able to get in the Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow battle pass include the UL736 Polar Light version, the Royal Rule Sticker, the Warm Plaid camo skin series, and much more.

However, if you wish to pay some in-game currency to get the premium version of the battle pass, you will find even more themed items to unlock. These include the Arctic-themed operator skins like the Whisper of Winter Vagr Modir version, the Cliffhanger Soap skin, Crash Atlas skin, and Keegan.

There are also plenty of new weapon blueprints that are themed around the winter season that you will be able to unlock, including the Boru PKM, Frosted Spikes KN-44, the Deceitful Deity MSMC, the Tasty Treat Echo, and others.

Icebreaker and Other Holiday Maps

Thankfully, Tencent and Activision have learned from giving players too little new content in seasons with Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow more than making up for the lack of content in some of the most recent ones, like in the case of Season 7 and even Season 8 to an extent.

The new content in the 11th season begins with a new multiplayer map joining the game. That map is none other than Icebreaker, a location first seen in Black Ops 4 and has not had much use outside of that game. It is yet another familiar locale from a past Call of Duty title.

The Icebreaker map is perfect for this wintery season. It is set in the middle of a battle around a long-lost nuclear submarine stranded in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. This is a medium map with snowy environments and a few buildings here and there.

A lot is going on here, from the more open areas of the map to the waters surrounding the location that players can use to flank enemies and possibly get a sneak attack. Icebreaker is one of the first major Black Ops 4 multiplayer maps to debut, a fitting addition.

Beyond the new Icebreaker map in Call of Duty Mobile, there are a couple of other holiday-themed maps that players will be able to check out that are less new to the community. The Holiday Raid map is a special festive winter version of the Hollywood Hills-set Raid map.

The beautiful and vast estate of the Raid map is now covered in a blanket of snow, with the winter evening sky looming over. Plenty of lights shine around the areas to help players see around the map, from the outdoor sections to the buildings.

Besides the atmosphere and visual change to the Raid map, though, this is the same map you know and love. Players can experience this holiday version for a limited time during the upcoming season. Then there is also Nuketown Russia joining Holiday Raid in the new season.

Nuketown Russia has been in Call of Duty Mobile before, so its return is unsurprising, turning the OG tiny map into a Russian theme with snow covering the entire grounds and train cars in the middle. Other than that, it is the same old map that you have played before.

Snow Scuffle and Undead Siege Nightmare Mode

Moving from maps to the game modes in Call of Duty Mobile Season 11 Final Snow, a brand new holiday mode is coming out known as Snow Scuffle. This new mode is like a take on Kill Confirmed but with a couple of holiday twists.

For one, you are not collecting dog tags in the Snow Scuffle game mode, but rather some snowballs. You get the snowballs from your enemies by simply eliminating them in the middle of the match and then picking them up after your fallen opponent has dropped them.

However, the catch is that, unlike Kill Confirmed, simply picking up the snowballs will not score points for your team. You have to pick up the snowballs and deliver them to a specific location to score points for your team to win the match.

You will also be able to collect mystery gifts in the middle of the match that will grant you items like the holiday version of the War Machine or the chance to become a snowman for a time. As you earn points in the match, you will also get different snowman skins to show off if you win.

For the Zombies fans out there, there is a new game mode known as Undead Siege Nightmare. The Nightmare version of the popular Undead Siege mode includes a hardcore challenge for veteran players, including harder enemies, new legendary tier turrets, and cranked zombies in the latter portions of the match.

Players will be able to fight back against the enemies using the new perk machines, Pack-a-Punch, and new weapons like the Gravity Vortex, Tempest, and the beloved Ray Gun. Furthermore, there is a new map in Undead Siege in Season 11 as Blackout is now coming to the Zombies mode. This will include some new gear and the Aether Crystal completionist camo.

Ho-Ho-Hot Drops Event

It would not be a new season without some limited-time event for players to check out. This time around, we have the Ho-Ho-Hot Drops event. Since there is no new content for the battle royale fans out there, this event will offer some goodies for battle royale.

In the new event, players can drop into battle royale and collect the holiday presents items or play online multiplayer matches to earn points. Once the player has earned enough points through either method or both, they will be given a passcode.

This passcode can then unlock a special drop location somewhere on the battle royale map. Players will need to drop into those hot zones and defend them from enemies to open up the special drop and earn some special holiday event rewards in the process.

12 Days of Deals and New Seasonal Challenges

There are 12 Days of Deals that are happening alongside the battle royale event, offering players the chance to get some discounted items. The discounts include lower prices for operators, gear, and other cosmetic items that you can get through daily specials.

This will begin right before the start of Season 11 and run for 12 days, with different items on sale depending on the day. While each day will see a new set of items join the fray, existing sales will last for a total of 72 hours before leaving the store, giving players ample opportunity to pick up the bundles.

Some new seasonal challenges are dropping in Season 11 Final Snow, letting players unlock some major new rewards. Through the seasonal challenges this season, players will get some new weapon blueprints, weapon XP, the Firefrost operator skin for the Special Ops 4 character, and more cosmetic items.

Later in the season, players will also have a new seasonal challenge that will task them to complete the Disc of Doom. If players can complete the Disc of Doom, they will receive the only new weapon this season: the D13 Sector launcher.

This launcher is unique in that it launches razor-sharp discs that bounce off walls to hit enemies. In addition to earning that new weapon later this season, the seasonal challenge will also grant players an epic rarity ASM10 weapon blueprint and more.
