This week, we reported that Crimsix and Scump were still duking it out in a war of words in interviews and across social media over struggles both of them had on OpTic.

Now the Call of Duty drama seems to have spilled back over to Aches, though this time, his beef is not with Censor but SlasheR instead.

Aches and SlasheR Drama – What Happened?

The Aches and SlasheR drama began after Aches announced Lace’s addition to the Los Angeles Guerrillas line-up early last week. He expressed his excitement for the new squad and how he and every player wanted to shake off a chip on their shoulder.

Super excited to be teaming with Lace again! Brings a fire and energy unlike anyone else. Everyone’s got a chip on their shoulder. Time to get to work ? https://t.co/iGDIVKvVZS

SlasheR quickly responded to the tweet congratulating Aches for the new teammate and calling it a “great addition to round out the LA B team.”

Aches immediately fired back at SlasheR, claiming that, “at least all of my teammates want to be on my team, not a part of the fake Optic. See you in a few months. If y’all make it that long, of course.”

The argument heated up from there as SlasheR questioned Aches’ statement that everyone wanted to be on the team. The texts they exchanged in September clearly showed Aches didn’t want to be a part of his squad.

Aches responded that the texts were before free agency began and scolded SlasheR for living in the past. He noted that he should, “make sure you’ve settled everything at home before you talk about some LA rivalry.”

Rivalries Building Up

The drama is heating the rivalry between the two players and their LA-based squads. SlasheR serves as a member of the LA OpTic team and sets the stage for heated matches between the two squads in the 2020 season.

We’ve now got beef between OpTic and Guerillas, bad blood between Dallas Dynasty and Chicago Huntsmen with Crimsix and Scump, and the old OpTic players’ new squads vs new OpTic.

Call of Duty esports is naturally a highly dramatic scene. These clashes will only heighten that and long-term team rivalries as the season progresses.

It’s going to be a bumpy ride this year. We can’t wait to see who can walk the walk and talk the talk as we enter the franchise era.

We’ll continue to cover the Call of Duty League as the 2020 season kicks off early next year, so stay tuned.
