Activision has revealed that Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is getting a new promotion to allow players to receive double experience codes. This latest Black Ops Cold War double XP codes deal will allow users to get a nice head start when the game launches next month.

Activision Reveals Mountain Dew and Doritos Partnerships Again

In life, there are a couple of things that are almost always guaranteed every single year. Even with a global pandemic still going on in 2020, those two things are still here and happening. The first is the launch of a new annual Call of Duty game, while the second also has to do with that game.

The other certainty in life every year is that Call of Duty will have a deal with some products line (probably the same ones as usual) to allow players to purchase those items and get some free double XP codes in the process. And once again, it is happening with Mountain Dew and Doritos.

Yet again, players will be able to get some free Black Ops Cold War double XP codes by simply buying Mountain Dew and Doritos products. This is great for those who want to start the game’s launch next month, with some boosts already ready for them to use.

With the launch of the game a little over a month away now, this means that players will be able to kick off the game with potentially hours of double experience ready so that you will be able to accomplish and unlock items twice as fast as you would have without it.

How to Get Free Black Ops Cold War Double XP Codes

So, here’s what you need to know about getting these new Black Ops Cold War double XP codes. Like in previous years, you will want to look for specially marked products in both the Mountain Dew and Doritos line of items.

When you go to the grocery store or even buy your items online to be delivered to your home, you want to make sure that you are buying a bag of chips or sugary soda marked with the Black Ops Cold War signage that makes it clear that you will receive double XP codes with it.

When it comes to Doritos, you are looking for individual bags of chairs and the larger bags that are more family/party sized ones. When it comes to Mountain Dew, you are looking for both the Game Fuel cans that also sponsor the Call of Duty League as well as varying sizes and packs of normal Mountain Dew drinks.

You can find the full list of the Mountain Dew and Doritos packages that you can find Black Ops Cold War double XP codes in below:

  • MTN DEW®
  • Specially-marked 20 oz. bottles, 12 oz. 12-pack cans and 12 oz. 24-pack cans of Mtn Dew®, Diet Mtn Dew®, Mtn Dew® Zero Sugar
  • MTN DEW® GAME FUEL®
  • Specially-marked 16 oz cans of Mtn Dew® Game Fuel® in the following flavors: Charged Berry Blast, Charged Cherry Burst, Charged Original DEW®, Charged Tropical Strike, Charged Orange Storm, and Mtn Dew® Game Fuel® Zero Flavors Charged Watermelon Shock and Raspberry Lemonade.
  • DORITOS®
  • Specially-marked bags of 2.75 oz (XXVL) Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch®, Flamin’ Hot® Nacho, Flamin’ Hot® Limon, Twisted Lime; 9.75 oz (XXL) Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch®, Flamin’ Hot® Nacho Flamin’ Hot® Limon, Spicy Nacho, Twisted Lime

It works because you will buy these specific items that are marked. There will be a code somewhere on the package or potentially inside the soda cap. You will take that code to this website right here. Plugging it in will allow you to start stacking up double XP for your account.

The Black Ops Cold War double XP codes come in a couple of different flavors. The lowest amount of double experience that you can get is 15 minutes worth of XP, the next amount is one whole hour of double experience, and lastly, you can get two whole hours.

Of course, the bigger the product you buy, the more time you will get double experience in the game. But you can, of course, stack these up, so you are free to buy multiples of an item to make a full hour, several hours, and so on.

Promotion Start and End Dates

Fortunately, the promotion between Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Mountain Dew and Doritos won’t make you wait too much longer. It is beginning officially this week and will go through Jan. 31, so you can start collecting the double XP codes right now.

Even though the game is not out for another month or so, you can start stacking up double XP codes over the next month so that you are more than ready for the launch on current-gen and next-gen hardware. Of course, we do want to throw in some warnings before you go out and buy them.

Given how Mountain Dew and Doritos are, we do highly recommend that you start collecting these codes in moderation. It is best to buy the items a little bit since they can be both rather unhealthy products if not done in moderation.

At the same time, you could always buy the products for the codes and never eat or drink them — we do know that some players do this — but that would be wasteful. Black Ops Cold War has a release date of Friday, Nov. 13, on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
