Apex Legends Season 10 Arena Flash Event Begins This Week
Respawn Entertainment has shadow dropped a new event in Apex Legends as part of the Season 10 content. This new Apex Legends Arena Flash event is the first of its kind for the 10th season of battle royale and includes even more reasons to play the popular game mode if you even need that.
Apex Legends Arena Flash Event Surprise Released
The Apex Legends Arena Flash event is here this week as part of the latest update for the game that includes some fixes and more. Even though it is only the second week of the current 10th season, we already have the first event of the season. It is here to, specifically, appeal to Arena fans.
It is a pretty simple event that is here for a limited time to offer Arena players the chance to earn some rewards and complete some challenges simultaneously. It is only available until Aug. 17, making it a really short event overall, so that means that players should take advantage of it while they still can.
The Apex Legends Arena Flash event is only here for about a week or so, which is not a lot of time to enjoy the content that has been released for it. This is something that players should keep in mind as this is a bit shorter than we are used to with most limited-time events.
Most of the time, the events held every season from Respawn typically stick around for two weeks, sometimes longer, and this one is only here for half of that time. That said, it still has some interesting tasks for players to complete in the meantime while it is here.
What the Flash Event Includes
The Apex Legends Arena Flash event is composed mainly of some challenges that you can do in the next week to earn some special rewards that will make the Season 10 Emergence grind a little bit more fun and even easier at the same time.
The various challenges available in the event are mainly designed to get you playing the Arena game mode. If you are someone who loves this non-battle royale experience, you may be happy to know that the event is here to encourage you to play lots of Arena matches.
You will have different missions during the Arena Flash event that will task you with doing different objectives across the Arena matches that you do in the next week. If you complete them, you will be able to earn various rewards from various categories.
There are the less interesting rewards like the crafting metals, but you can also receive some excellent items like Apex packs that you can open up for the chance at other cosmetic items and even battle pass stars. The last one is particularly wonderful for players looking to grind the Season 10 battle pass.
Since the pass is only about a week old at this point, everyone is still relatively new to the season. The battle pass stars are more important than ever at this point since everyone will want to grind as many battle pass stars as possible.
More Flash Events Are Coming Soon
What is great about the Apex Legends Arena Flash event is that you can complete the challenges in either the regular unranked Arena mode or the brand new ranked Arena mode that launched in Season 10. Whichever of the two modes that you prefer, you will be able to enjoy the event.
This is also a great way to get accustomed to the new ranked experience and all of the new Arena maps that have been released lately for the game mode. And the best part is that this is just part one of the events, with two more parts reportedly set to come out later in the season.
According to the Apex Legends data mining legend Shrugtal, two more will happen in the coming weeks. There is another event set for Aug. 24-31 and a final one that will be happening Sept. 7-14, offering plenty of Arena content this season.
These different events will include more battle pass stars, Apex packs, and the like for players to unlock through various challenges. What is great about the third and final event next month is that players will be able to unlock a special weapon skin for the Volt SMG and a Caustic legend skin.
The Apex Legends Arena Flash event is not the only addition this week as it arrives at the same time as some changes have happened in a hotfix for the battle royale game’s recently released 10th season. The quick update makes only a few changes, but they are crucial to balancing the experience.
Balancing Changes Also Released With the Event
The Prowler has been nerfed ever so slightly in terms of damage from 15 to only 14 now, while the L-Star has also experienced a nerf. The speed while aiming down the sights with the L-Star has been reduced to be a little bit more cumbersome now.
There was a strange hole in the map near the new Climatizer point of interest that has been fixed. The prices for the Prowler and L-Star have been raised in Arena matches. If you like those weapons, keep in mind that it will cost you more money to unlock them.
These changes are pretty important at balancing the game and directly address the most common player feedback since the launch of the Emergence season. Some balancing changes are coming for Seer next week that will likely nerf the character some, so be sure to check back for that soon.
