Apex Legends is gearing up for a new grand event soon that is going to send Season 3 off with a bang. So, it is no surprise developer Respawn Entertainment could be teasing what’s next for the battle royale game. One player believes they found an Apex Legends Revenant glowing eye teaser recently.

Revenant Glowing Eye Teaser Reportedly Discovered by Player

Twitter user Kyle Whitlock posted about the intriguing possible teaser his girlfriend discovered on one of the buildings in the capital city area of the World’s Edge map. The reported teaser seems to be pointing towards the release of Revenant.

For months, there have been rumors and data leaks regarding the upcoming legend Revenant. The latest Apex Legends Revenant glowing eye tease could be the latest entry in the saga pointing towards the character.

The user tagged data miner That1MiningGuy and asked for his opinion on whether the teaser could be something no one noticed thus far.

In the 10-second clip, we see the player looking towards a specific building in the capital city area of the current battle royale map. The short building has three floors and a roof you can access.

At the start of the clip, the player stares at the large window on the second floor and approaches it. When they get close to the window, you can see the Apex Legends Revenant glowing eye teaser.

A mysterious and ominous glowing red eye shines in the large window on the left side of it. The strange occurrence only happens when the player is at a certain distance from the window, looking at it from a specific angle.

If you move too close, the glowing eye could disappear. You can’t see it if you’re too far away. While the player is in the correct position, moving left or right causes the image to look different and even better from certain angles of viewing.

You must be outside of the building and in front of the window to see the Apex Legends Revenant glowing eye teaser. You can’t see it if you do this from inside.

Overall, this makes the red glowing eye a strange Easter egg possibly hinting at the upcoming release of Revenant.

Popular Data Miner Supports Possible Teaser

Many users in the community noted the glowing eye looks like the early artwork data miners like That1MiningGuy found in the game files.

The popular data miner gave his endorsement that this glowing eye is something to keep an eye on (no pun intended). The leaker replied directly to Whitlock’s tweet and noted it is “worth investigating more.”

He also linked a screenshot of the Apex Legends Revenant glowing eye from the clip Whitlock posted side-by-side with a screenshot of the glowing eye from the older Revenant artwork. The uncanny similarities likely points towards an upcoming reveal of the character in-game.

That1MiningGuy further mentioned he would duplicate the possible glitch or Easter egg soon. Other commenters on Whitlock’s original tweet noted they haven’t heard or seen this before either. So, it could be a major teaser.

This possible teaser might not be one after all. Commenters pointed out the glowing red eye could be a glitch for the Proteus organization logo in the building.

Whitlock tested it again and found a Proteus poster inside the building. The logo is highlighted in red. So, it may be a case of the game glitching the logo to show up from certain angles in the window rather than a Batman symbol situation.

Reportedly other buildings have the Proteus symbol. You can see the glowing red eye through the window at certain angles. The unfortunate situation might be a glitch, but then it could be made to look like that as well.

Revenant Likely the Next Legend

Revenant could have ties to the Proteus organization considering the similarities between the logo and his artwork. Or, it could be teasing something else. Respawn possibly made the glitch happen for those eagle-eyed players like Whitlock’s girlfriend.

Regardless of whether the glowing eye is an intentional Easter egg thrown in there recently by Respawn Entertainment, there is still the chance Revenant is the next legend. There was a teaser for the character in the Fight or Fright Halloween event, after all.

The end of Season 3 is rapidly approaching. The start of the next season is likely happening in February after the end of the Grand Soirée event. So, it is a great time to release the shadowy character who recently got an updated kit leak.
