Akshan, the Rogue Sentinel will be swinging into Wild Rift on July 28! In fact, this brash, Bollywood-inspired mid-lane marksman will soon be available in all of Riot’s titles — other than VALORANT, of course. So, needless to say, you’ll be seeing a lot more of him going forward!
Fortunately, he’s one of the more charismatic additions to the game, so you probably won’t mind all too much. How big of an impact he’ll have on the meta still remains to be seen, but it’s impossible not to be intrigued by his peculiar ability kit and integral role in the Sentinel’s defense of Runeterra.
But we digress. The important thing here is that he’ll be joining the Wild Rift champion roster and will bring all his flashiness and pizzazz with him. As always, the dev team has basically ported his entire kit which means you’ll be able to pull off nearly the exact same plays as in regular old League.

Fortunately, if you’re interested in taking this charming Sentinel for a spin, you’ll be able to do so free of charge — assuming you make the right calls and do a bit of grinding throughout the duration of the event! You’ll still be able to purchase whomever you so desire using Wild Rift’s in-game currency, but getting a brand new champion for free is always preferable to the alternative.
