2021 LEC Summer Split to Begin on June 11

The 2021 LEC Summer Split is scheduled to begin on June 11, so if you’re itching for some European League of Legends, you definitely won’t have to wait much longer! Three weeks between the finale of this year’s Mid-Season Invitational and the 2021 LEC Summer Split is the perfect amount of time for us to conjure up our theories and predictions as to who’ll win and in which fashion!

Not only is Europe one of the best and most competitive regions in the world, but this upcoming split will also be packed with exquisite narratives and storylines that’ll make your mouth water! MAD Lions have pulled off what seemed nigh impossible and will enter the second half of 2021 with a target on their backs. G2 Esports, on the other hand, are hard at work plotting and scheming their potential comeback, with Fnatic struggling to keep their most important players. And, of course, there’s Rogue as well — they’re dying to get a bit of revenge for their crushing reverse sweep loss to MAD in the LEC finals.

All in all, there’s a lot to look forward to. For the first time in seven years, we’ll witness a brand new status quo, one that doesn’t have G2 or Fnatic atop the region. Who’ll come out on top? Will MAD Lions be able to fend off the slew of motivated challengers coming their way? It’s impossible to know at this point, but one thing is for certain: we’re bound to be entertained beyond measure!

2021 MSI — An Absolute Must-Watch

In the meantime, while you await the start of the 2021 LEC Summer Split with bated breath, make sure to tune in to the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational. It’s the same old MSI we all know and love, only this time in an environment befitting such an important tournament: Reykjavik, Iceland! Eleven regional champions have convened in this dramatic landscape lined with volcanoes, geysers, and hot springs and are currently duking it out for pride and glory! And, as always, it’s an absolute must-watch!
