Fortnite Season 6 Week 11 Quests: Place a Spirit Crystal at the Tallest Mountain
Epic Games has released the Fortnite Season 6 Week 11 quests for players to check out. With the launch of these missions this week, players have more tasks to complete for experience rewards, including the Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain quest and much more.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 11 Quests List
What is interesting about this week, compared to the 10th week of battle royale missions in Season 6 last week, is that we are now officially in the extension of the current season. Like most of the seasons in this second chapter, it is apparently going beyond the initial 10 weeks.
While it is currently unknown how long the delay of the next season will be, we do know that there are at least a couple of more weeks of challenges that are already built into the game’s backend files. This means that we could even have a similar situation to Season 5 where it went until week 15.
That means that we are looking at quite a bit more time in Season 6, so this is a great chance to wrap up any quests, cosmetic items, and the battle pass that you were unable to finish yet. The Season 6 Week 11 quests are especially good for this since they give so much XP to players.
You can find the full list of the Season 6 Week 11 quests below:
- Do the Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain quest
- Keep full shields for a minute straight
- Use three bandages in matches
- Play three different game modes
- Spend gold bars with the Deadfire NPC
- Eliminate an opponent at a distance that is more than 25 meters in total
- Visit Ghost and Shadow ruins on the island
- Week 11 legendary quest: Deal damage with dual pistols (five stages in total recommended for four players)
In total, there are the usual eight quests that players are able to do for experience rewards. There are the seven normal weekly quests that are there with simple objectives, while there is also the legendary quest that is only here for a limited time this week. Here is everything that you need to know about how to complete all of these missions, including the Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain quest and more.
How to Complete the Fortnite Place a Spirit Crystal at the Tallest Mountain Quest
We are going to start off with the quest that we know a lot of players are coming to this post for: the Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain mission. To break this one down, we first need to figure out where the tallest mountain on the island is located.
You may already know this place from past quests in the second chapter that have dealt with visiting this particular point of interest landmark. If you did not already know it, the tallest mountain on the map that is necessary for completing this quest is Mount Kay.
You will not see the name of Mount Kay show up on the map itself, but you can definitely see the location on the island. The Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain location is found atop the huge snowy mountain peak that is in the southeastern corner of the island.
In terms of the snowy range of mountains that is in this area, it is basically at the southern tip of them. It has a bit more detail to it on the map to signify that this is an important location. This is the place that you need to head to for the Fortnite place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain quest.
But once you know where the tallest mountain peak on the island in Fortnite battle royale is found, this quest actually becomes quite simple to accomplish. Essentially, all you need to do is head to the peak and then interact with the crystal that is there to finish the mission.
You do not have to do much more than that for this mission. The key part that you have to worry about, though, is making your way to the mountain peak. Since it is the highest point on the map, it is going to be kind of challenging to build your way up this remote location.
That is why we recommend that you head here as soon as you jump out of the battle bus and try to land at the peak. This makes the job a little bit simpler and then the task of placing the crystal is a breeze once you are up there.
How to Maintain Shields for a Minute
For the next mission this week, you need to keep full shields on you for one minute straight. First and foremost, you are going to need full shields on your character in a match. That is something that you should be aiming to accomplish as soon as possible in every match you do, but keep that in mind in case you do not always do that.
Our recommendation for the game mode for this mission is the usual: Team Rumble. The lack of other players in this game mode makes it a tad bit easier to keep your full shields intact; just do not head to the enemy side of the island or the center circle on the map.
What you want to do is essentially go to a remote named location that you do not think other players will go to and open up treasure chests and look for shield potions like usual. Once you have full shields, you need to keep them on you for a full minute.
That does not take too long if you are in a remote area where there are no other players around you. It is just a matter of walking around and waiting until the time is up and you see the notification that you have completed this quest.
Up next is a mission to use three bandages in matches in Fortnite. This one is easy since you do not have to use them all in one match, though you could definitely do that if you wanted to. The game mode does not matter much but the key point to keep in mind is that you need to use the bandages.
This means that you need to be damaged at some point to allow for you to use the bandages in the first place. You could wait until another player has attacked you and damaged your health, or could do it to yourself by falling a little bit more than you should or something like that. Make sure to use three bandages in total across matches and you are good to go on this one.
How to Spend Gold Bars With Deadfire
For the following challenge this week, you need to spend some gold bars with the Deadfire NPC. This is pretty standard Fortnite stuff right here where you just spend some of the in-match currency of gold bars with one of the NPCs on the island.
The catch here is that you have to, specifically, pay some gold bars to the Deadfire NPC. If you do not know the location of this character, you are going to have a hard time trying to do this quest. Fortunately, that is where we come in with the location of this character.
The Deadfire NPC can be found near Lazy Lake. What you are going to do is head to the little house that is northwest of Lazy Lake. It is hard to see on the map but you can see its tiny location there, northwest of Lazy Lake and just across the river that flows between the two locations. Simply head to the NPC there and spend some of your hard-earned gold bars, and you are done with this mission.
Another quest that you can do this week for experience rewards is to play three different game modes in total. That is literally it, so this is going to be one of the easiest quests that you could ever do. All you need to do is queue up and play three game modes in total.
Game modes are defined as the different icons that you can select from the battle royale lobby. They could be any mix of the different battle royale modes, like solos, duos, and squads, or you could throw in some Team Rumble, Creative, Party Royale, and so on. The limited time modes will work, too, so long as you play three different ones.
Where to Find Ghost and Shadow Ruins
Next up, we have a quest to eliminate an opponent that is more than 25 meters from you. This one is going to be for those snipers and really accurate assault rifle players out there. If you’re good with a rifle, you will be fine for this quest so long as you try to keep some distance between you and the opponent.
Snipers will have a really easy time here as they can snipe the enemy quickly and efficiently from far away. My personal preference for longer ranges is to use the bow introduced in Season 6. This bow is excellent and one of the best weapons for me this season, and might be useful for you, too.
From there, we come to the quest that requires you to visit the Ghost and Shadow ruins on the map. Ghost and Shadow were the two spy factions that played a huge role in an earlier season of Chapter 2, so you may remember them from then.
The two factions are still around in the form of ruins, which you can find in very different areas of the map. As such, keep in mind that you do not need to visit both in the same match. The first is the Ghost one, which can be found on the shark island in the northwestern corner. The island is the former The Shark named location that is north of Coral Castle; just visit there and you’re good.
The other one is found on the total opposite side of the island and is the Shadow faction ruins that are where the old Grotto used to be when it was a named location. It is just south of the Dirty Docks area and by the beach there.
Week 11 Legendary Quest
And as always this week, there is a legendary quest this week for a limited time only. The week 11 legendary quest is to deal damage with dual pistols. The popular handguns are back and you need to deal some damage with them — a whole lot — in order to finish this quest in time.
It all begins with the first stage of five for this one that requires you to deal 1500 damage. It increases by 1500 from there until you reach the fifth and final stage that requires 7500 damage in total. This is an insane amount of damage that you must deal and we highly recommend that you do not do this alone.
The best way that we can think of is to gather up a squad of four players and head to Team Rumble where you have respawns and can keep your weapons all match long. Grab some dual pistols and then deal as much as you can. Good luck as you will need it as even with four players, you are still looking at 1875 damage per player if you divide up all five stages between your squad.
