Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 Challenges Guide

by in Fortnite | Apr, 13th 2020

Epic Games isn’t done with the Fortnite Deadpool challenges at all, despite what we expected before. Instead, the Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 challenges are now here and players have a lot more objectives to complete to get all of the rewards offered in this crossover event.

Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 Challenges Are Surprisingly Here

In a surprising twist of events, the Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 challenges are still here. While this might not be entirely surprising from a glance given that the Deadpool event has been going on since the start of chapter two, season two but there is more to it than that.

It certainly seemed like the Deadpool challenges were coming to an end last week when Epic Games finally released the official Deadpool skin that everyone was looking forward to. Now there are tons of players in battle royale who are running around looking like the Merc with a Mouth.

As such, it seemed like the Week 7 challenges were the end of the Deadpool crossover missions. The reward last week was pretty grand and was what we expected to see as the final reward in Week 9 or 10. However, that wasn’t the case after all as we now have new challenges to complete.

Because of this, you might be wondering why the challenges would continue this week after already giving many players the official Deadpool skin for their lockers and you might be happy to know that the reward this week is certainly worth the price of admission.

Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 Challenges List

Like every other week this season, you can find the new Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 challenges in the same place as usual. Players will be able to check out the new missions this week by heading to the usual Deadpool hideout that happens to be in a bathroom of all places.

To get there, head to the battle royale lobby (not an actual match) and then go to the second tab on the screen. This is the battle pass headquarters where you can find a lot of useful stuff like the normal weekly challenges plus some other nice surprises.

To find the bathroom, you have to head through the mysterious vents that are on the right side of the room. In there, you need to find the computer terminal in the bathroom hideout and interact with it to see all of the challenges that are listed there.

But you don’t have to look at the computer to see what challenges are offered as you can just take a look at our list below:

  • Find Deadpool’s lost pool floaty
  • Dance at Deadpool’s Yacht party in a battle royale match

As you can see, there are two new missions to do in the Week 8 challenges. They follow the same pattern of the previous challenges and are pretty easy this time around.

Where to Find Deadpool’s Lost Floaty

The first challenge that you can do is to find Deadpool’s lost pool floaty. For some reason, he was playing with his pool floaty around the map and ended up losing it somewhere that has nothing to do with a pool or any water whatsoever, which might be why he can’t find it.

Thankfully, though, it is rather easy to find the lost pool floaty in Fortnite as all you need to do is leave the bathroom hideout through the vent and go back into the battle pass headquarters. Once you are in the main room that is the second tab of the game, you need to find the elevator on the left side.

Head to that elevator and it will take you to the Agents rooms that are in the headquarters. There is one for all five of the main minibosses that are stationed all around the season two battle royale island at The Shark, The Yacht, The Grotto, The Agency, and The Rig.

However, in this case, the room for Midas has yet to open up. Fortunately, Skye’s room is open now and it is where you need to go for this particular challenge. When you arrive here (likely after you have to watch the Skye intro cutscene), you can find the pool floaty here.

It is found to the right of Skye on the floor by her. The pool floaty sort of blends into the environment but you should see the name appear above it. The pool floaty is red and black, having the same color scheme as the superhero himself.

How to Dance at Deadpool’s Yacht Party

Once you have completed that particular challenge, you will finally be able to do the second one. You aren’t able to do it until you complete the first objective that you have to do. Once you have that finished, you need to do the second one.

What you need to do is head to any battle royale match of your choice, though we recommend that you do the Team Rumble mode. That one is always the best game mode for completing these challenges since it has a lot of features and changes that make it easier to complete missions in.

Team Rumble has fewer enemies than other modes since there are only 20 on each of the two large teams and more teammates to watch your back. This is important because the location that you need to go to for this mission is rather popular and everyone is heading there right now.

The location that you need to head to for this easy task is The Yacht that was recently converted into its own unique event crossover location. The Yacht was recently taken over by Deadpool and he is hosting a party there that is all themed around, well, him.

For this mission, literally all you need to do is dance at Deadpool’s Yacht party. In this case, it means heading to the Deadpool-infested large boat and dancing there. The Yacht is a named location, so you likely already know where it is since it’s already on the battle royale map.

Head to the northeastern corner of the island and you can visit The Yacht there. You can land anywhere that you want on the boat as long as you are at the named location. Then when you are there, all you need to do is do your favorite dance emote and you will be good to go on this challenge.

It doesn’t matter what emote it is so long as it is a dance one, so the default Fortnite dance will do here as well. The one thing that you need to keep an eye out for is all of the other players that are going to likely be there. It is easy to be found and killed since everyone else is likely doing this, too.

That is why Team Rumble is so important for this challenge since even if you do die in the process, you will just get revived and can keep playing. Otherwise, you should just sacrifice a random match to do this quick mission.

Once the game confirms and notifies that you have completed this task, you should just leave the match entire and you will get your very special reward.

Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 Challenges Reward

The reward that you will get for the Fortnite Deadpool Week 8 challenges is an excellent one that you shouldn’t miss out on. This might seem surprising since the Week 7 challenges gave the reward that all players were wanting to get since the beginning of this season and the start of this crossover event.

That reward was finally the official release of the Deadpool skin that is available to everyone who completed the Week 7 challenges in this string of missions. That was all that was necessary and, so, we expected the Deadpool challenges to end last week.

It turns out that Epic Games wasn’t done with them just yet and, instead, offered a new reward this week that players can get for the Week 8 challenges. If you complete both of these challenges, you will get the special Deadpool skin variant that will let you change up how he looks in the game.

That skin variant is the unmasked version that shows Deadpool in his standard suit but his mask has been removed and you can seem in all of his twisted and unfortunate glory. It is a great reward that makes doing these surprisingly easy challenges worth it.

The real question, though, is whether or not there are two more weeks of Deadpool challenges to go. We can’t think of other skin variants that could arrive as rewards, so it would likely be something else. In that case, it would be hard to follow up on the official skin and its variant, so we don’t see that working out too well. For now, though, we will just have to wait and see.
