The 10 Best Call of Duty Warzone Streamers

by in Call of Duty | May, 2nd 2020

Call of Duty Warzone is one of the best battle royale games around right now and this is in large part due to the community that has surrounded it immensely. Given its connection to Modern Warfare and as a standalone game, it has some of the best Warzone streamers around.

Call of Duty Warzone Is Already One of the Best

Releasing just about over a month ago from the creation of this blog post, Warzone has quickly soared in the ranks to become one of the top games that are out right now. Given the COVID-19 global pandemic situation that is affecting everyone, Warzone has arrived at just the right time.

Players who own Modern Warfare can pick up Warzone for free as the battle royale game mode for that title, similar to what Blackout is to Black Ops 4. However, it is also available as its own standalone free game for players who don’t have Modern Warfare on PS4, Xbox One, or PC.

In just the first month since its launch, Warzone has cemented itself as one of the battle royale games to stay as it has some amazing features that are unique to it plus a massive map to play on. Also, there are so many changes that have already happened for the game in such a short time.

Players can already enjoy the likes of four-player squads and solos in battle royale, in addition to the normal trios that the title launched with. And when you are bored with the last player (or squad) standing approach, there is the excellent Plunder game mode as well.

Best Warzone Streamers Criteria

Being that Call of Duty Warzone is just so good with likely more battle royale seasons and content to come in the future, it is a better time than any to check out the community of players who are streaming the game. Fortunately, there are a lot of content creators for the title.

But with the battle royale game still being so new, it can be tough to find those content creators that are the best Warzone streamers around. As such, I have come up with the 10 best Warzone streamers that I think you should check out as the game continues to grow and get better.

Many of these are streamers who were already popular and doing well before the release of Warzone but have switched over to the game in recent weeks. Also, some of them are competitors who aren’t just fun to watch but know the game well and will rack up kills like crazy.

To determine the 10 best Warzone streamers, I went through and selected these personalities based on several factors including how popular they are, how entertaining they are, how much they know the game, how good they are at the game, how they engage their audience, and more.

While these are only 10 of the best Warzone streamers around, there are plenty more that I didn’t have room to fit on this list. As such, these are far from the only good content creators for the battle royale title out there. And this list is in no particular order as I didn’t set out to rank them this time around.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at what I believe are the 10 best Warzone streamers, each complete with their descriptions of why you should check them out.

1. Ninja

Kicking off this list is someone that you likely already know quite well, whether you like him or not. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is one of the biggest personalities in video game history and that is not likely to stop anytime soon.

The Mixer-exclusive streamer made the switch to the Microsoft-owned service after a lengthy, very successful tenure at Twitch for some time. Since leaving Twitch, Ninja has flourished at Mixer and done just as well there, if not even better.

Known for his victory dance moves, engaging moments with his audience, rants about what he likes or doesn’t like about a game, and so on, you really can’t go wrong with Ninja if you don’t know where to start when looking for Warzone streamers. Just watch out if he tries to get too philosophical as that isn’t always his forte, especially when it comes to getting angry.

2. Dr Disrespect

Another classic streamer that just about everyone in gaming likely already knows about is Dr Disrespect. The so-called “two-time champion” is one of the biggest content creators in gaming, hosting a club of followers who love his off the wall crazy personality.

In many ways, Dr Disrespect is less a content creator and more like a WWE/SNL skit brought to life on Twitch. He is just as much a strange persona embellished for his fans to enjoy as he is a talented player.

A former community manager for Sledgehammer Games, one of the three main Call of Duty developers, he certainly knows a thing or two about games like Warzone. As such, he isn’t just all smack talk, either, as he knows how to play games like Warzone, making for a fun mix of entertainment and talent.

3. Formal

One thing that you won’t find too many of on this list are professional Call of Duty players. But that isn’t the case for Formal, one of the current competitors for the Chicago Huntsmen. If you don’t know about the Huntsmen, you must not follow the Call of Duty League.

The official esports league for Call of Duty Modern Warfare (and likely future Call of Duty games), it is in the middle of its inaugural season currently. Chicago Huntsmen is at the top of the leaderboards for the season almost all the time and it is in no small part due to Formal himself.

When Formal isn’t trying to compete for championships and tournament wins in the league, he can be found frequently streaming on his personal Twitch account. Because of his immense talent, he isn’t one of the most exciting to watch but he is the best player on this list without a doubt. If you want to see a true pro at work in Warzone, you won’t find anyone better than Formal.

4. NoisyButters

NoisyButters is the first female content creator on this list and someone that you should check out, especially if you want to see someone who is officially recognized as one of the best streamers around. While she isn’t necessarily a pro player herself, she is signed by a pro team.

The Atlanta FaZe is one of the best teams in the Call of Duty League and arguably the best at the time I wrote this post. They signed NoisyButters as one of the official content creators for the leading league team and there is a reason that they chose her.

Don’t let the NoisyButters name fool you, as she is one of the sweetest and entertaining personalities around. She engages well with her audience, noteworthy for her extremely fast talking at times to respond to the community. She also knows what she’s doing in Warzone, which is great.

5. CouRage

CouRage JD, or simply CouRage, is one of the top content creators around and growing. A great player with a heart of gold and a love for Ariana Grande, you really can’t go wrong with watching this guy go at it in some Warzone battle royale matches online.

The winning personality of CouRage is the main reason that you should check him out. This guy is not only super friendly but someone who constantly never fails to show his kindness on stream. From his classic moment of being so grateful to his mom for cleaning his set up to engaging with viewers, there are few kindhearted teddy bears like CouRage on Twitch.

That said, don’t let the kind face fool you as his name is CouRage for a reason. Every once in a while, you can see this streamer rage and it is quite the sight given the stark difference. This is because he does take his competitions seriously and will give it his all no matter what.

6. Nickmercs

Nickmercs is an official streamer for FaZe Clan and is one of the best players around. When it comes to battle royale games, there are few streamers out there who know these games as well as he does. As such, he has become one of the premier Twitch streamers for Fortnite battle royale.

With his expertise and competitive level of play from that game, he has taken it and transitioned it to Warzone recently. Nickmercs has begun playing the Call of Duty battle royale title considerably since its launch and is, therefore, one of the best around.

Given Nickmercs is an expert on battle royale, you can’t go wrong with watching his talented streams. As one of the biggest personalities around, too, he can be regularly seen streaming in squads together with other fantastic players who complement his skills well.

7. Alodia

Moving away from the standard Twitch and YouTuber content creators out there for a moment, we have someone a little bit different. Alodia Gosiengfiao is one of the top content creators for Facebook Gaming, a platform that is quickly rising through the ranks to challenge Twitch and Mixer.

Alodia frequently streams to her millions and millions of followers on Facebook Gaming. One of the most popular games that the Filipino streamer has been playing recently is none other than Warzone. Alodia has a winning and unique personality that stands out among the crowd.

It also helps that she provides a plethora of content for those who have Facebook accounts. You can scroll on Facebook and easily pick up one of her videos to watch there. What’s crazy is that she isn’t just a streamer, though, as she is a world-renowned and award-winning cosplayer as well.

8. Nadeshot

Nadeshot is a content creator who is one of the most famous Call of Duty players around. That is because he had a healthy and successful run as a former captain of the world-renowned OpTic Gaming team for a couple of years.

From there, he shifted gears and became a lot busier as the founder and co-owner of 100 Thieves, one of the best esports organizations around. It is quickly rising and becoming one of the most talked-about esports organizations, no doubt in part due to its talent and co-ownership by the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team owner.

Given that Nadeshot has the responsibility of running his impressive 100 Thieves Cash App Compound and teams, it is surprising that he is finding some time to still stream on his Twitch account. Given his level of expertise and skill when it comes to all things Call of Duty, he is quickly becoming one of the most popular Warzone streamers around.

9. Sunni

Sunni is one of the lesser-known streamers on this list but she is just as deserving of being on here. Formerly known as PandaGirl91, she recently made the switch to being called Sunni after not liking that name. Since then, she has grown in popularity over the last couple of months.

Hailing from Norway, Sunni has a unique personality compared to many of the pro streamers on this list. She is loud and proud, commanding the screen’s attention even when she is streaming with other content creators. If you like fast-paced and exciting streams, you should check out Sunni.

Her vibrant personality isn’t just for show either, as she has the talent to back it up. She is regularly seen getting some solid kills and outperforming her teammates when she is streaming on her Twitch channel.

10. Call of Duty League Teams

Finally, we have a rather interesting final entrant on this best Warzone streamers list. I am going to end with the Call of Duty League teams in general. I already mentioned Formal, who is one of the best players in the entire league but the league as a whole deserves mention as well.

The Call of Duty League focuses on competing through Modern Warfare for most of its competitions and weekends, but that doesn’t stop them from also picking up Warzone occasionally. The likes of Chicago Huntsmen, Atlanta FaZe, Minnesota Rokkr, Florida Mutineers, and more play exhibition matches in the battle royale mode for fun occasionally.

With competitions happening online every couple of weeks or so, the teams compete on the official Call of Duty League YouTube channel in fun battle royale matches through Warzone during the week sometimes. It is a far cry from the highly competitive Modern Warfare matches and can offer up some varied, one-of-a-kind play styles that you won’t see from any of the previously mentioned streamers.
